No.
You should have been responsible enough to wait, read the descriptions, and do some testing before screwing up your respec. If you're new to DUST I have a little pity for you, but if you're a veteran of DUST or even worse, a DUST and EVE player, I have ZERO remorse for you.
In short, no one deserves a respec. |

Yes.
A number of the skills are not written correctly and display old skill bonuses and not the new ones.
In addition the period between the 06.05.2013 and the 14.05.2013 should be a grace period to get a feel for teh new meta and skills and provide feedback where as release should give everyone a clean slate. |

CCP lied to me about the various skills and what they do, they do not do what is advertised and even worse they do something completely different which i wouldnt waste SP into
This has happened on several skills and punishes all vehicle specalists
It is CCP problem, why should i get punished for CCP mistake? |

Why bother. Tools are still gonna mess up their sp and want another reset. Just charge 10 bucks per reset and make em an item you can sell on the market. |

In short, no one deserves a respec. I was responsible enough and have everything where I want it, but I still say yay. Honestly what harm could it do? Plus it will be official launch so it just makes sense. And again I'm supporting this when all it will do for me is force me to spend 5 minutes to put everything back where I had it.

At least the skill descriptions would actually be correct this time instead of me putting SP into a skill which does do what it says on the book |

I read over everything a number of times. But false descriptions made me believe I was getting something, when I actually wasn't.
This is a problem with the Vehicle tree, so they should atleast give players who specced into this tree their SP back. |

I looked at the skills, I read all the descriptions. I checked the market place to make sure that if i skilled up certain skills I would be able to make certain fits.
Then, after I had put my skill points in, I found out that one of the skills was "bugged". All my theory went right out the window along with my SP.
Now, upon further reading I find out the skill isn't bugged, but the description makes it sound useful, whereas the skill now is not, along with the entire HAV class.
No one said that they were removing a quarter of the PG from all vehicles, if they had I never would have specced into them.
I could have had a 6 million SP assault suit running around, now I am stuck with a set of skills for a class that CCP is in the process of killing without telling anyone. |

If there was no better reason than "oops, I trained X and I wanted to train Y", then I'd say no.
But there was a mistake on CCP's end where a skill that lists a 5% increase to PG doesn't give the bonus it says, and when I had to train it past the point I would have wanted even if it's fixed before I found out there was a problem, that's something that warrants a respec even if the skill is fixed. |

Yay.
I think many people are forgetting that this is technically still only a BETA, not the finished "official" release of the game and, as such, people should be encouraged to try as many different combinations of gear/skills as possible, in order to experiment, evaluate and provide feedback to the developers, which is what a BETA is for, after all.
Make it optional, so the people who don't want it don't have to do it, but people shouldn't be punished simply because they treated a BETA for the purpose in which it is intended, rather than as a finished game.

Us speccing into max level stuff is exactly what was needed to prove the game was broken in terms of balance, otherwise the same HTFU fanbois would be touting games been out a day why dont we wait till we see more ppl in protos to see how the game is balanced blah blah blah,
Fact is if it wasnt for the immediate speccing into logi514 noone would have believed that they were the ultimate suit; people would shout spreadsheet statistics at us and tell us its balanced because of lack of sidearm
This is what happens when people think that balance in FPS is determined by stats and spreadsheets. There is a human factor involved and they are far smarter than any system people can put forth because the system is also designed by humans, and someone will find a way to break it. We did it 15 seconds so you wouldnt have to hash this out months later.
Oh and sorry explain to me how miltia and basic frames would clearly show how the logi and assualt specialties are out of whack. That turrets are fundamentally broke?
Yea SP refund is totally warranted and not unprecedented in EVE when CCP so badly screws up a build like this or makes drastic changes, oh and to fix this game they will fundamentally need to change a lot of things(ive given my feedback elsewhere) that would warrant another refund just like they did with this build. There simply is no escaping it. But if they dont no biggie i went logi anyway |

Nah,
They stated it was the last reset. We should have act accordingly.
If a skill is bugged, what we want isn't a reset, we want that skill to be fixed to work as intended.

Yes, because when we partly trained into the skill knowing we'd need at least something invested, then trained it higher than we'll need if it's fixed to work as described, making it work correctly after the fact will magically un-spend the excess SP we invested.
It will also un-spend SP that we put into related skills to try and buff the relevant stats in a way that wouldn't have been needed if the skill was working as intended.
And it will DEFINITELY help when they decide to instead change the description of the skill to match the new effect it has. That won't completely invalidate almost the entirety of the SP investments I've made into my alt.

Yay....not because I messed up or I didn't wait till I knew what was nerfed, but I would like to skill into something else now what I see how broken somethings are. I know for one I would not be a logi and would likely just go vehicles. |
