OK first you tell us we will be getting back the Aur we spent on BPO's then you change your mind? Militia BPO OK whatever they can still be used with spending skill points. Dropsuits however are a different story.
I spent full price (About $10 in AUR) for 1 Logi Sever Suit about 2 months ago, because the suit was good forever, and cheap to spec into. Now I have a useless $10 BPO sitting in my inventory unless I want to spend 1.9mil SP specing into a racial suit that I don't want or like. NTM, I have always been a tanker first and I don't have 1.9mil extra SP lying around.
I understand some people bought alot of these suits when they were 30 aur, I wish I was playing and bought it when it was that cheap BC then I wouldn't care.
There are many easy fixes for this that can keep everyone happy and prevent the people who took advantage and bought alot of them for 30 Aur and are now looking to rake in the AUR. You can do any 1 of the following.
1. You can refund only 1 suit per person, because no one needs to have bought more than 1 suit per merc. 2. You can check your logs which you obviously keep and refund the original purchase price. 3. You can make the Sever suit like the dragonfly suit and require no skills to use.
Anyone of these solutions should be relatively simple, and fair. Something needs to be done about this, because I and 98% of people that own that suit feel ripped off. |

I also agree that something aught to be done.. It is wasted real life money otherwise..
We bought them on the pretense that we would always be able to use them, now that's null and void. I personally don't want to spec into minmitar gear now.. which means i can't use it, so real life cash is just sat there for nothing.
Now i'm not going to die over it if nothing is done about it.. it's just a tad annoying really.. Would be nice if something were implemented to make it feasible to use it without having to spec racially into the skills considering the skill cost.
A refund would be nice.. but then i'd be wanting a bpo of the similar style but in the race i pick... that's not available so i'd likely just end up spending it on boosters.
But i think suggestion 3 has merit to it.. It would mean we could hop straight into it.. i even wouldn't mind so much if the stats were nerfed on it if it.. just something cheap to use so that we can support our guys even in a cheap fit..
Anyway... +1 |

Same with the Raven assault suit, i bought it with aurum and did not won it in any event or anything. Iim stuck with it because now it takes a considerable sp sunkage for a gallente guy, i contacted CCP and basically was told "deal with it, we cant do anything"
I believe all 3 options are fair, but currently theres not a equivalent to the raven for the other races (i think, i maybe wrong but i didnt found it in market). |

But that doesn't really effect me much I don't care if some guy can get a couple extra "free" active boosters if it means I get my 20k aurum back. To me it sounds more like CCP made a mistake and don't want to give away free money rather than CCP looking out for the community.

False advertising and giving vague public statements about reimbursing Aurum items that people assumed covered those suits, and CCP knew very well what peoples assumptions where...
Why the hell did we even have to learn this content WHEN it launched? why didnt we have full information long before so we where educated going into the patch.
CCP is isolating themselfs in some freaking white tower. Come back down CCP, this is your first FPS game and your surrounded by FPS vet's to help you, we all want the same thing a successful FPS title that will be around for years to come.
Don't ruin it by screwing over a customer base that already is willing to invest 19,800 aurum for a suit. |

Haven't seen others say it yet, so I'll throw it out there:
If the racial suits are supposed to be Tech 2, and require proto light/medium/heavy frames to spec into, they are way too high-level to be a BPO anyway. The Raven/Sever/Valor suits should be refunded and deleted for that reason alone. |

You're correct, there are no Gal/Min/Amarr 'Raven' Assault suits. I would certainly be rocking that already if there were. |

They're standard level. The problem is some fudging with the reimbursement terms, confusion over what constitutes an "event item" (the people complaining about refunds for it clearly never got it for free), and the ballooned skill reqs. |

Hello guys,
We are very well aware of Valor, Raven and Sever dropsuits changing their SP requirements. We are working on addressing that very soon, and we apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. Stay tuned for more updates on this in the upcoming forum announcements right here in this section: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=topics&f=898

Honestly, even if they do change the skill requirements which I feel will be their response, it's not going to address the other issue with the MAG dropsuits in that there's more than a fair number of people who would just like our AUR back, I not the least among them. |

How do they refund them though? Those dropsuits were part of bundle and also separately available on the market for just AUR. As far as I know they can't take AUR price and give it to you if you got your suit from a bundle pack, becuase that's almost like getting additional AUR for free. And those that bought it for clean aur will feel that they just got AUR and not rest of the pack. Makes sense just to either lower skill req or make them basic dropsuits. |

I hope they do not simply change requirements but give us a refund, CCP depicably deceived us by saying last month while talking about new skills and items refund "We have thus decided that it is far better to respec not only the skills but items as well. In short, you will get your SPGÇÖs back and the ISK and AUR value of any item that is removed from your inventory." Needless to say that none of us thought that some of these items were non-refundable, mainly the MAG suits. We all believed that they were, some of us do not want to invest in a certain race or want to change class entirely, but now We have 10 dollar dropsuits hanging in our closets. |

I went down the route of specialisation in Amarr suits before I even realised I could no longer use the BPO's so am opposite to you. I would much prefer to be able to use them again. I already have around 40000 AUR sitting there without wanting to really spend any at the moment so I would get more benefit from having my suits back usuable. |

I would prefer BPO variants for each race. So we could be reimbursed and be able to buy the BPO from the race you want. Because it makes a hell lot of sense. Make BPOs for all Type one Logi suits and its a done deal. I would gladly re-spend the reimbursed AUR in an Amarr BPO Logi type 1 suit.

+1 i'm exactly the same, i want a logi bpo and i dont mind if its a low level one but teh reason i bought the sever and raven was to use as cheap suits because of the low sp to use them. now in full game i'm highly unlikely to use assault at all and i'm currently Gallente Logi (love the fitting bonus ) i'm considering going minmatar logi for the hacking bonus but since the raven has the ugly cammo and not the rather foxy black/white coloring i'd be happy to trade it for a gal logi bpo, same as with my Valor on my other account, not sure what i'm wanting to spec into on that yet but option to get aurum back to decide later would be highly appreciated |

I too bought the SVER (Sever) Logistics, the RAVEN Assault, and the DRAGONFLY packs. Just so I could try out each variant, Logistics, Assault and Scout.
1 account (main, this one) with the SVER and RAVEN suits. 2nd account with the Dragonfly.
Now I find I enjoy Logistics the best (hence the name) but how I enjoy the Gallente Racial variants, I can no longer use either the Minmatar SVER Logistics Suit, nor the Caldari Raven Assault suit.
I would like a refund so that I could spend that AUR in equipment that I WILL use and not just have it sitting in my inventory gathering DUST. After all that was the reason it was purchased originally to TRY items out with the condition we were recieving a refund.
OR
If we aren't getting an AUR refund then at least I would like to have a SVER Gallente Logistics suit, moulded to Gallente type. Afterall this would be nothing more than a "skinjob" on a Gallente Logistics (Orange and brown) & RAVEN Gallente Assualt (Black and white)
One for each race and SWAP one BPO for another, ONE THAT WILL BE USED. as mentioned... it's a skinjob, give each race the Logistic SVER colours, Assualt RAVEN colours, Scout VALOR colours in the type 1 variants and allow players to make the swap.
Or refund the originally promised AUR for the BPO's, which was originally stated upon purchase.
