The EVE/Dust connecting is heating up as we speak. For the second time in as many days Goon leader The Mittani has reached out into the world of Dust mercenaries, this time apparently dispatching one of the more vocal Goons in Dust: Cerebral Wolf.

For those not on twitter, here were his comments.

He followed that up with: @midi2304 @HVACRepairman There will likely be a new corp, the II directors were about to loot II and flee CW's idiocy before I shot him.

It would seem both Cerebral Wolf and Immobile Infantry's Goon affiliation is over.

Mittens: CW was a fool as was anyone that believed he spoke for the swarm or followed him.

Never heard cerebal wolf talking big, but I guess I don't follow or hang around them too much.

Thats the problem of acting big in a community (alliance) of ten thousand or so. It has a obvious hierarchy of leadership where he was acting big when he was likely the lowest rank standard grunt (who happened to play dust) and the nail that sticks out gets hit down.

I disagree. I think if console gamers are looking to shoot mans and acquire currency, they can do that without regard for the political machinations of their higher-ups. So long as we're playing instanced combat game modes, CCP is giving the console pewpewers a level of protection from the meta.

Kind of both. Fps players usually don't have the long term view or political skills because fps are short lived and have no way of changing anything. Eve players understand that the CEO is a person who works hard and can steal what you and others have worked hard for. The meta game touches us all, if you think that it doesn't the you are wrong. I am not saying become some type of lore expert but I do think some homework would be smart. This is a game and some people play it differently.

When the economy is live the politics will change prices, blockades will disrupt supply and largre well ran corps will control systems and assets. When the game is live the meta game will touche us all.

I realy hate any anime that has 11-15 school girls in it for main characters. To watch It (being older than 15) borderlines on either having absolutely no taste, or just being a pedo-prerve, I am not sure what would be worse. Something like cowboy bebob is a man's show. its 11 years old (as a show, not characters lol), and I still rank it to be the best. Also scifi and fantasy tend to have that allure, of something worth watching and that would better use the medium of animation to capture, if a show is all schoolkids in a non-fantasy world I see no reason it couldn't be done in live action.

And berserk is awesome, a shame they didn't make more of it into animated form, though the manga is still going so it is endless until the maker dies.

I can't say I realy like allot of recent anime, save gungrave and last exile, allot of it junk. I may be a fan of anime but I don't have to limit myself to liking just it, or accepting whatever j-pop shonen/shojo crap that gets churned out by bulk as praiseworthy.

If you're watching anime in dubs you should prepare yourself for the worst. Harems aren't worth watching unless you have the VA's bringing the characters to life to make them somewhat interesting - dub VA's are just plain AWFUL.

There's exceptions though - but you seem to enjoy mainstream adult anime that was made years ago. Long as you close your eyes to everything with a kid in it you'll be missing out on some epic shows like Mahou Shoju Madoka Magica *EPIC*

cw was awful, his directors in ii hated him and had been trying to get him to step down for a while, but always replied with something like "I AM II/THIS IS MY BABY/I WILL NOT BE BULLIED/I WILL LEAVE ON MY TERMS ONLY/blah blah blah. he was never anyone inside of GSF, he never spoke for them, and the only reason he was allowed to run an unaffiliated dust corp for goons was because no one in gsf wanted anything to do with dust at the time.

he was headshot by mittens after some conversations with people at fanfest

since every attempt at getting him to gracefully step down had failed, all of his current directors were planning on breaking off the morning before uprising and herding everyone (minus cw) to a new corp while liberating the corp wallet. the headshot and the gsf announcement that dust is now a thing sped things up

he's said he's going to continue running II but i have no idea how that will work since any active player he has is bolting to the gsf corp, and all his directors are gone. he rarely plays the game, and the only thing he really ever did was try to be some big shot personality which usually resulted in everyone hating his guts within the first minute of talking to him
