So, when you go to add new Regions into PC, what happens to the non-FW systems in these regions? A prime example is Seyllin which has 2 Temperate planets and is in the Essence region. It is not part of FW. |

It sounds like people would much rather have clone packs unavailable until the 14th so that they have a little time to view the timers and get their money together. As Reav said, it also lets people get their gear on.
Well, you knew Planetary Conquest is coming for a month or so with some estimated prices. You should have already have the ISK for that ;) If not, then, well, tough luck ;) |

As a Dust CEO, it is very hard to manage our Corps without any Corp's tool. Trading asset from player to corps and corps to players, managing income and roles, all good stuff and could keep our players motivated and structured.
best, Silid Not for uprising. Corp TAX is on the roadmap and so is corporation hangers; that being said corp TAX is on the roadmap ahead of the corp hanger.

Good job today FoxFour, this forum has needed someone to spend a day answering peoples questions n relaying them to other devs ... much appreciated.
I brought up a question not so long back about chat channel being switched automatically when joining battles, even if you already have the softkeyboard open typing in another channel ... https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=669166#post669166
Any news from the people you forwarded it to ?
Thanks again, I'm sure from all of us, for spending time with the wider community today and for your excellent presentations at FanFest, and to everyone else involved there too.
Ohh there's also been a lot of tears harvested over the DUST items in the Collectors Edition ... could you make enquiries into whether people will be able to sell unwanted items either ingame from DUST to Eve and vice versa when the market allows or whether it would be against RMT or anything else for them to sell the codes on ebay etc.
I'm looking forward to using all my gear and at the very least spinning my ships :-) ... preordered mine the minute the Evestore came back from the maintenance it was in seconds after the announcment ! lol. |

Your station quarters should be based on your local system which depends on your starter corp which is dictated by the Faction you chose ... ie. Minmatar start in Minmatar NPC corps which are based in Minmatar regions and should have Minmatar station quarters ... mine is, I figured everyone else was the same ... pretty sure my alts follow the same principal, I'd have to check though. |

CCP FoxFour, do you remember being in a podcast show called Cast 514? Do you also remember saying mentioning planetary stargates on that show? I made a thread about it and I would love to see that someday. Here's the link to it if you want to check it out:

Isn't it based on Race? I picked amarr, and I have amarr quarters, and I'm SICK TO DEATH of them. At least with Eve, I can fly to different quarters to if I want to. Even if we can't move, can we change quarters? Please? I'll pay AUR...

Quarters are based on the station you are based out of. Although I remember reading that one or more NPC corps were assigned to stations of a different race than their chosen race. The ability to move between stations is not yet on their roadmap.

Yes, I understand that. However, in the short term, since we can't leave our room except to fight, and exactly what system we are in between missions is irrelevant to everything except local chat, I'd be willing to pay AUR to move out of my standard Amarr Mercenary Quarters in the Amarr Station to:
- Caldari Business Suites
- Gallente Luxury Personal Appartments
- Minmatar Tribal Communal Blocks
Likewise, someone on a Caldari, Gallente, or Minmatar station could purchase a
Amarr Meditative Sanctuary
The rooms were originally supposed to be upgradeable, and the ones we have are the low-rent versions. Unfortunately, the capsuleers got their knickers in a twist about playing "Space Barbies" and the feature was never implemented. Still the groundwork is there, lore-wise, to have interchangeable quarters in the stations. |

Absolute Idiom II wrote:Hey Foxfour, great to meet with you and drink with you at Fanfest. I still owe you 2 beers for losing that bet (you can collect them next year) and my wife was surprising cheerful that she got to talk about the pros/cons of python code!
Anyway, I have some questions, so here they are:
1) So since we can attack districts that belong to corps in our alliance. How do the OBs work in those cases, since the only rule you've told us is that anyone in the alliance can provide OBs.
Will they essentially be able to fire for both sides?
2) You mentioned during your PC talk that the loot chance to drop is 50% (just like eve). Does this apply to every suit, vehicle and everything fit on them (mods, weapons, equipment, grenades etc.) ? Because that is A LOT of loot.
How will the loot be shared amongst the mercs in battle? attack corps in your alliance? TRAITOR!!!!!!lol jk |

Honestly, I was thinking more in terms of the Wallet Transactions report than the total amount of money.
Once that is in place, it makes it easier for CEOs and Directors to hound their members for money, but since it doesn't come until May 6th, the corps may not be able to plan their total takeover strategy.

Sadly, the Gallente Luxury Apartments aren't all they're cracked up to be. We're working on a class action suit against CreoDron for selling us couches we can't sit on, beds that are too small to lay on, and a TV that shows nothing but the Home Shopping Network.
Yeah, my hope is that CCP is continuing development of "Avatar-based gameplay" (the new phrase for Walking-In-Stations) because they realize that it is a necessity nowadays.
The five players who actually thought it was just about "Space Barbie" and not intrigue, smuggling, etc. are not a good reason to abandon development of the entire program. Most of us were angry not about the concept, but about the lack of execution.

Also, districts are locked after battle? Can they be reinforced with clones immediately from other districts, kinda like moving pieces after a turn of Risk?
You would have to move the clones to one district first and then move them from there. Districts are not locked after a battle. They are locked after a battle if the attacker wins the district, but they are locked because the district has a new owner. Districts stay as under attack for one hour after a battle starts. During that time only the attacker can launch another attack. If they do this of course the district will remain as under attack after the battle.
QUESTIONS (in easy-to-answer form):
1) If district is 'under attack' no normal actions can be performed by or onto it, correct?
2) So in theory a district could be under attack infinitely, without ever getting a single chance of an action? |

well i didn`t see any ideas to build off of the arena match modes so i made a thread today for it, "Arena Mode ideas" .... very straight forward title... but the thread itself has the creativity that the title neglects :D
alot of speculation mainly on the Flaylock and the Assualt DSes.
Also made a thread saying what will be coming ni the uprising update, near future and far future tot he pilot role, the threads called "what us pilots need to know (what were getting)." thats all the threads i really made. |
