Try to keep this thread as clean as possible, please dudebros!
Basically : I have been running around hugging ever Dev I can. In some cases those hugs are followed by a brief chat. I've met a surprising number of them who work on Dust so far, and had some chances to ask some really nice questions I've seen floating around on the forums!
So, I'm extending this here to you. I'll try to check this as much as I can during the day, but here is how this will work
Ask your questions you want to forward to the devs, and I (and ironwolf most likely) will poke as much as we can if we find the right people!
Try to keep this thread clean, don't comment on other peoples questions or post if you don't have anything to ask! Another thread will be created with all the answers, and posted sometime after fanfest is over. |

Please ask them this.
What are they doing to make dropships more viable in combat. The assault dropship is a start, but what about counter-measures ? Something that can stop them from just being flying targets. |

When do i get a proper prototype HAV?
The Black OPS HAV is not prototype, its more of a sub specialization
The AUR and PSN tanks are not included either because you need real money to buy them where as in the dropsuits every line has an ISK equivelent |

Heavys everywere are dreading the new build, and durring the "Ask us anything!" event the devs said "watch at fanfest" or "were looking into it" and the classic, tottally ignored all other questions about the heavy suit. Riddle them this; will heavys have reduced upper tier price checks and/or have any stat/slots changes to the suit? |

Suit prices where normalized, suits of one tier cost about the same. Weaponry has been nerfed to 0%damage. All damage + skills except turrets and proficiency has been removed. Armor repair skill armor plate shield extenders and booster skills all increased module effectiveness and not fittings. Three fitting skills to max out at 15% + to CPU and pg.

I would really just like to know what the hell kind of difficulties they are coming up against that has slowed developement to an excruciating crawl over the last year. So very little content has been added to this game, in a year! And so little content will be being added in the up come build, and I am just puzzled (and frankly quite frustrated) about why.
When you ask this question, don't let them ham-sting you into accepting the PR/PC response they most definitely have concocted by now inorder to give the public the cold shoulder. Really pry into the subject with them. See what you can get out of them concerning the matter. |

Via IRC logic loop stated he'd love to see this back and is still working on terrain behavior.
Total new number of suits are 39 new suits this compliments the existing twelve to make 51 suits total. |

Its speeding up now, the move to TQ was the hurdle. Uprising only took three months of actual work. The sever move and foundation building has been eating up majority of the development. Now that most of that is behind it should be speeding up. |

Ask them about it man. Pry! Get them when they're drunk and feeling comfortable. Lul them into a false sense of security, then press the subject. It's called investigative journalism. Hopefully one of you brought a pocket recorder, so that when you post it on the forums you have something to back yourself up with. You guys (CPM) are supposed to be working with our (the dust community) best interests in mind. Now get out there and give them hell. |

Where is the command structure (like the still-missing MCC Commander) and the compartmentalized command chats and proximity chat for other blues? This game will require a high level of communication so hopefully talking to our allies won't be left to OSMOSIS and PSYCHIC POWERS. |

Jet packs would just be a bad idea espc if you can use your weapons when flying about

I agree that jetpacks would be atrocious, but we have low modules that add +10% to sprint speed. So what if the "jump pack" was just a +10% to vertical leap? Or a -10% to fall damage?
One thing I hate about being a scout is that I'm supposed to have high mobility, but I need to think more carefully about non-traditional routes (aka jumping off of crap). So in Type-2 scout suit jumping from tabletop or mezzanine will eradicate my entire shields, but on my Type-2 assault it's barely a tickle. |

Nova it was asked once in this thread but not yet answered and is to me a very important question.
Afk farming. Is this being fixed in uprising and if not when? This exploit is damaging to the game in many ways not to mention CCP profits. CCP recently said training areas would not be made with no loss of equipment since that would have a negative impact on the dust economy as well as CCP profit. Afk farmers are creating the same detrimental affects if not worse especially considering the dust economy. If they have not fixed this for uprising I would like to know why the fix was not a priority? |

Will the "in game" status in contact lists work now?
Will you get a proper bounce error message when you send an invite to someone who is in-game or already in a squad?
Similarly, will the PSN friends lists be used?
These features add to the social aspect of the game. I should be able to start the game and check which of my PSN friends are online. I should be able join their (unlocked & non-full) squad or join the game they are in, if possible.

Unless you guys can come up with really good reasons as to why it be wanted removed it would be hard to justify the resources. |

So is balancing on hold in many respects? Lack of content isn't a major gripe of mine but if it's starting to hold things up this badly isn't it becoming a real problem not just for the community's expectations but also for development? |

What have they done in regards to laser rifle variations? and what exactly did they do to "nerf" it? if its been nerfed at all?
When do they plan to open up more faction warfare space? (to conquer and everything?) why have they limited it to only one region from the start? is the player base too small?
How many new skills have been added? and how many knew weapons have been added? Any new types of variations to weapons?? (for example something additional to the sub veriations of the AR such as the Tact rifle, breach, burst....?).
Whats the outlook on a simple player trading tool? Plus how will they manage to refund our officer weapons on may 6th?? what exactly is and isn't being refunded??

Corp matches don't have usable volume and early uncover major advantages and disadvantages that fittings and skill levels of the heavy shooter with high kdr has over the fittings and skill levels of the ones getting shoot. Major problems in design and balance do appear when you have more people generating information. That's like trying to balance a game on prize winning tournaments. In this case the heavy would receive a massive Nerf.
Also this current upcomming balance pass is a fresh plate BTW. We're almost starting back over. |

The lab and D's handle slightly differently for the better, all vehicles have new control schemes available in options as week such as a trigger based lab throttle instead of the default stick.
Meta level advantage seems to be how much slower heat on the gun builds up. Damage ramp up is also a bit slower but it seems to be able to reach similar damage. Also sharpshooter skills where removed along with weaponry damage bonus so its not instant burn heavies.
Faction warfare is a NPC controlled event battle its expansion is reliant on eve's own expansion of few space and or factions. Planetary conquest is in one region for now in the future it will grow to meet demand and population, that way there will be fights instead of vast nothing.
Market and economy is an hot priority expect a hard confirm of when within the next six moths or less, provided that crest doesn't blow up or something. |

I would like to answer but I think it be better if it came from the developers mouth, but yes there will be improvement to the rate of content in one way or another. |

Flowers and Friends is the "vegetation". Currently, in uprising, it's only "flowers". (grass and small shrubs), the "Friends" (presumably trees and larger bushes/hedges possibly) will be.. "later". I'd say probably sometime during uprising, maybe next build. |
