My observations in the trailer: -plasma cannon on the killfeed at the beginning of the vid (blows up a tank) -scrambler rifle has 2 firemodes, charge up with increased damage or fully auto with overheat function -2 districts on 1 loaded map (plateu and the orbital canon map you can see that at 0:57) - new "hacking arm module" - new dropsuit (probably gallante) - the kills from the OB where in a green colour (probs the colour of the eve pilot) - orbital canon map after titan crashed (this map variation was not in the rotation which is stupid) |

Did anyone notice the Eve side kills were listed by frame size?

I was under the impression these were more likely to be pre-fits like the raider, etc.
Cat Merc wrote: Either that dropsuit is heavily underpowered against the Caldari assault dropsuit, or it has no modules for tanking. I mean really, 250 armor and 150 shields? My Militia does better than that. And unlike the devs that have all the skills, I don't even have max shield control and whatever the name of the armor bonus.
The enemy dropsuits were militia according to the Eve side kill feed so it may have been a militia only test match. If not then yeah, that suit had better have some way of compensating for its awful stats.

In eve we have tech 1 and tech 2 sort of things
Tech 1 - Generalist Tech 2 - Specialists
So instead of a suit that can do just about anything, you now have a suit that is far more niche in its role. Right now Amarr heavy suits for example quite able to roam around and do things from killing AV to killing infantry. A specialist suit could be like a mobile pillbox. while not all that fast you're not killing him anytime soon. Or there could be one that is more focused on the use of heavy weapons, maybe have higher reserve amount of ammo and more damage and mobility. it wont be able to tank like the other one but it can certainly kill more. |

Is it possible the suit is one of the reward suits going out tomorrow? If it was a brand new race suit I would have thought CCP would have put out a devblog first instead of just randomly putting it into a video. Either way I am pumped! |

I cannot tell you how badly I want my Titan Suit. Amarr Armor heavy with a suit designed for point defense is exactly the specialist role I am looking for. |

Um no, the type 2 suits are getting removed. There will be 4 types of each suit. 4 scouts 4 heavies.
The type 2 shield tanked heavy for instance will be instead the caldari heavy with a new model

But we already new about the rifle. What I meant to say was the suit is the only thing in the video that was unknown to us until today. |

Looks like the Gallente assault dropsuit, if you go by the logic that Gallente are the attackers on Caldari Prime. They drop down from a Gallente MCC. It looks extremely classy and badass, but it doesn't have the usual backpack everyone has. Still I love Caldari design, can't wait till the default assault dropsuit gets unique and we Caldari wear it with honor, not just because it's a starter fit. |

Are you sure you aren't confusing tech 2 and Type-II. These are different things.
IWS, I know about tech 2, I also play EVE. What I don't know is what part of my post your patronizing response was directed at. |

and the scrambler rifle looks cool too I agree, looks like a gallente assault - armor tanked though so could be amar? The gallente pretty much exclusively armor tank, so it's gallente. The scout is the exception, not the rule. |

It does have it, very tiny though. Pretty much explains why low CPU/PG equipload.

Actually, the Gallente Scout suit does have a backpack. It's just really small due to the limited CPU/PG and it conforms to the body. |

I like the fact it's armor tank over shields, fits the lore and it would be interesting how can that suit can have high HP while moving fast and equip damage mods on the high slots at the same time. My LR will have a hard time killing these types of suits...
