Did anyone notice the Eve side kills were listed by frame size?

I was under the impression these were more likely to be pre-fits like the raider, etc.

My Militia does better than that. And unlike the devs that have all the skills, I don't even have max shield control and whatever the name of the armor bonus.
The enemy dropsuits were militia according to the Eve side kill feed so it may have been a militia only test match. If not then yeah, that suit had better have some way of compensating for its awful stats.

Um no, the type 2 suits are getting removed. There will be 4 types of each suit. 4 scouts 4 heavies.
The type 2 shield tanked heavy for instance will be instead the caldari heavy with a new model
Are you sure you aren't confusing tech 2 and Type-II. These are different things.
IWS, I know about tech 2, I also play EVE. What I don't know is what part of my post your patronizing response was directed at. |

Can we be 100% sure that isn't a nanohive with better graphics/different effects.
I assume you mean this object?
I don't want to rain on your parade but the recent devblog made it sound like we shouldn't expect that mod for the next build. |

Kitten Commander wrote: You have to imagine that anything they have spoken about with any real type of discription has at least a working model built in their DEV platform.
With just a description and no concrete details, art assets or discussion from the devs about how the beta testers would like to see it work? I don't think I do have to believe they have a working prototype of such a module. Keep in mind the number of elements they say they have planned for the future. By this logic they have semi-working versions of all that stuff.
I think they've got more than enough work to do implementing things we first saw a year a ago (drones for example) to be more than one build ahead on comparatively recent ideas.
I could be wrong, maybe that module is easier to program and is somewhere in the work the devs are doing now but to see it in a test of next build sufficiently advanced to be hooked up to the live event (assuming that wasn't all smoke and mirrors) seems far fetched to me.

Definitely a nanohive. |

Kitten Commander wrote: Yeah, that would negate what I said. Still, I tend to think that they have more in rough testing than what they would ever release to us. It takes a long time to fine tune things for release.
I don't think you are necessarily wrong about how far ahead they may be in some areas, I just don't think we can be as certain in speculating about how much work they've done on content they only just mentioned. |

Yeah but there's time missing from that sequence.
1.32 : Klystron kills Silviu with a GEK. 1.36 : Zevulun kills Kaioku with a Freedom Mass Driver.
1.43 : Wipe to Space.
1.48 : Cut back.
sometime between 1.43 and 1.48 : Klystron has killed Silviu with a Gek and the message is fading from feed.
The other killfeed entries fade in about eight seconds, putting time of death at about 1.41 when we know he wasn't on feed.
Unless re-spawn time was changed (OB with no points hacked, therefore devhax) Silviu had to have spawned sometime during the space sequence. Also if death to kill feed notice fadeout is eight seconds more time passed in the ground battle than during the space sequence and was edited out. |

Zekain Kade wrote:But if it was changed, it would make the jobs more balanced as it would require you to risk your self to be in the open to use it.
Tbh, I hadn't noticed that there was no map sequence and the reason I went super nerd about the whole thing was because I was checking carefully in the hope that you're right. For all I know that OB was triggered by the player hitting R1 and the delay was just the pilot connecting to the district. I personally don't mind that OBs can be dropped from anywhere but I do think that they need to streamline both the designation mechanic and the way Eve players respond to our requests. |
