I forsee events in the future being held with little to no forewarning, and at seemingly random times. The point of these events is that they are LIVE events. to pre-schedule them kinda takes a little away from the experience. Truthfully, we are probably going to have a lot of these events going forward, as there is a lot of "explaining" to do in the lore as to why the capsuleers should "accept" the mercenaries into their lives, etc. And during that time, I'm sure you'll get to participate in some of these events. that said, something tells me you aren't upset about missing the event, more so about missing the opportunity for free gear. yes? if that is the case, we'll have plenty more events for free suits/gear. it might not be the same gear, but it's really just a badge saying "I was there!"

I would assume that this is a first attempt at having two seperate events for the main regions. Cut them some slack, I see this a good progress. I sure there will be many more events and suits and maybe even some that revolve, one battle does not win the war. So the Black Eagle suit will more than likely come back again in another event. Keep Calm and Stumble On.

It's easier to reschedule for EU, since they have similar time schedules. These events require them to be at work, asking them to work longer is unreasonable.

The Americas QQ'd, got the event extended, and got word from the Devs that there would be another Black Eagle event in the future. Stop claiming persecution just because you missed out on a crappy BPC. And if you really NEED to have the black eagle suit, I will gladly sell you my remaining 8 or 9 for 1 million ISK a piece when the market opens up. Actually, make that 10 million ISK a piece, just because you want to cry.

No, you are completely ignoring what actually happened. First, they posted the event times. Then NA players cried like little girls. So CCP got their employees to stay late, just so that NA players could get an increased window to get into the event. Do you understand that? They went out of their way, altered an event schedule and had employees stay late, just for NA players. Then, on top of that, CCP Eterne came into the thread and told NA players that there would be other opportunities to get the black eagle suit. This time, instead of having anyone get upset, they have split the event so that as many as possible get the suits off of an event. They not only went out of their way to get NA players involved, they altered the way they do events and gave the next events first run to the NA players. In what way is that prejudiced? It seems very evenhanded to me.

There's no point to using them anywhere other than the War Barge, I took it off because to many people had it. Just like how Proto suits are no longer awe inspiring.
