Well, You elite guys can have Ural to start, maybe throw in Irkutsk. And we will take Western Australia.
That should make things a little more exciting for you until we reach the inevitable equilibrium of stalemate...
But you will never take Australia!
Anyway, looking forward to the more thought out post.

LOTIS is okay in my book you just made a poor choice to join shaddy's voting block. Go and tell shaddy that you aren't going to vote for him for csm9 and see how long you stay in "HIS" alliance.
that said i didn't know you guys want to be more then renters to shaddy. I figure if do well in corp battles one of the big 5 will give you some planets |

Be honest icy you think when going to 16v16 then to 24v24 its going to get any easier for the other corps to beat us?
Depends on if your "elite" no lifers can fight all your battles for you or if you'll have to dip into your hangers on (IMPswarm). I figured you IMPS would like this new system, your 16 best guys can fight all your battles and you can flex your epeens still as if it means something. |

Well now im not sure, the big elephant that i cant find an answer to is if on the initial day a corp can buy more than 1 100 clone pack.
If they can then they can stake their claim on multiple districts assuming they have the ISK. Which for large corporations shouldnt be a problem.
250 districts x 20M= 5 Billion ISK. So lets spend 500 Million ISK and you got 25 districts day one and potentially a large planet.
However if all you can do is buy 1 100 merc clone pack at a time then that changes everything.
As this will put all large corps on equal footing with all other corps on day 1.
I don't want to go into much more detail that that but i will simply say Day 1 all comes down to wheter or not you can purchase more than 1 clone pack if you own no districts. |

Since free beers put the effort into copying all the bad parts of the RAAAAAAAGGGGE that abounded when they changed FW last year (Passively complaining and overly confident prediction generation) I figured we should treat it as such.
So here is the plan.
Divide up Imperfect's districts into 5 equal parts and form a coalition to hit this ***** simultaneously and watch their isk come in.
We will do a lottery to pick target systems so all is fair. After that is fantasy football style system drafting but it must touch a system you control. Lucky for us, there shouldn't be a shortage of corps willing to participate.
Last we'll leave them a small section of lowsec sov just so we can continue to farm them.
If you dont like this tell CCP because this is how its going to be.
Note: I left any and all serious out of this since it is just theory at the moment

So here is the plan.
Divide up systems into 5 equal parts and blue donut this ***** and watch the isk come in.
1-PRO being the biggest NPC corp gets their own side. 2-ROFL you get yours 3-STB you get your 4-SI you get your (let the betamax kids be renters I know you want to ) 5- We will pick up PFBHz, RND, SyN
We will do a lottery to pick home systems so all is fair. AFter that is fantasy football style system drafting but it must touch a system you control
Last leave a small section of lowsec sov <------------ let the small corps battle it out
If you dont like this tell ccp because this is how its going to be.
Note: I left any and all EvE based alliances out of this since it is academic at the moment I think that's a bit excessive. As well, this is only the first phase of this system, and Nullarbor said in IRC that they're already tweaking the stuff they've just announced specifically to take that into account. They don't want Dust FW to be like null-sec any more than we do. lol you think tweaking is going to change the **** system the gave us? also mobius I was looking out for you man SI is going to give you guys a spot. Sha is good for it Tweaking wasn't strong enough a word, then.
Recall that in Dominion they tore up the old Sov system completely and replaced it with a new one they built from scratch. CCP isn't afraid to change something fully and completely if they feel it's for the good of the game. |

Oh and keep the PXRXO comments coming. Hatred is something peculiar. You will always find it strongest and most violent where there is the lowest degree of culture.
I'll type slow so scrubs like you can understand me. It's has nothing to do with your corp, your corp size, your play style, my corp. It simply has to do with ccp making the same mistakes in dust has it did in eve. I am working up a thread and hopefully even short bus kids like you will understand it. PRO makes up for its lack of skilled players by telling yourselves average is the new l33t. I don't have hatred for PRO, i have pitty. If I am reading between your lines here ( and I'm sure you'll let me know) you're suggesting that the mechanics of the planetary control system proposed share the same underlying flawed rule/mechanic structure that has led to much similar dissatisfaction with EVE sovereignty gameplay? |

If Free Beers manages to organize a perfect blue donut through his masterful diplomacy ( ) I'll not only be wildly impressed, but he will have proven a point and CCP will have learned a valuable lesson about a weak spot in their first iteration of this design.
I wish him the best of luck. o7 |

No need to worry. We simply just need to utterly destroy those that dare get in our way. Of course though, temporarily cooperating with other corps to help expand territory is a must at first. Then with our built up army, dominating the system shouldn't be much of a problem.
Don't take this post seriously BTW. We have no idea how this feature will work on Day 1.
EDIT: Actually, which corp should be everyone's priority to eliminate first? Curious, |

Or as TEST or Goons would say... "chump change" I'm interested to see what this will do to space traffic in the region, whichever it is. It's a lowsec region, and we're going to see traffic of orbital bombartment vessels who have to stay on-grid with district sattelites. Easy pickings for pirates. Will it be worth it to pay eve pilots to escort these destroyers just to have orbital strikes? Will having space supremecy in a district (by putting an entire fleet on grid) signficantly enhance a Dust corp's chance of winning a region? Or will the risk be too high, and we'll all make do with precision strikes instead? Jesus, i thought 250 systems was bad, 250 districts is even worse. So the 6 jump rule must be because it's all within 6 jumps.... lol that could be like 20 planets in a few systems OMG i need to activate my eve lowsec pirate toon Now, it may be the medicinals talking here, but, the more I read the forums and the more I envision how the PC system is supposed to work, the more I think about the crazy sandbox possibilities.
If you were to look at the modified star map as if it were a board game...with enough coordination we could make a picture...

Because negative feedback in and of itself is not harmful, and can actually be constructive if wielded objectively and with an open mind (note - free beers is p bad at this, even though he means well). If we all sat around and sang kumbyah and high-fived CCP the game wouldn't be where it is today. :-P
We don't have to like every change they make, and bad systems should be certainly be put to the test, broken, and THAN pointed at as proven failures. Those are necessary steps in iterative design. But the order that those steps are taken in that is the key. Skip right to the end and credibility is lost. |

My passion and bluntness regarding EvE/Dust/CCP shouldn't be mistaken for ignorance and irrationality. I wield the hammer of thor when i need too.
PS you lots all credibility when you insistend dust be passive sp only . Can't feel the pain of a fps player when you are all eve neck beard and such |
