Beers&Co,
What specifically is it that you don't like about the planetary conquest system as described? |

I am working on a real post about it with the math and ecnonomics involved it takes a bit more to develop and try and explain it to everyone. also didn't mean to leave guys out. I am sure stb will be will be happy to give you a planet Thanks but when I am ready I will get my own planet.
And I do look forward to you detailed post because, despite your bluster and arrogance, I consider you a serious gamer with some good insights. Get typing. |

You are upset... again about something that's not out yet because you intemperate that it will not cater to your corps way that you want to play the game? Yup imp forum tears again. Oh and keep the PXRXO comments coming. Hatred is something peculiar. You will always find it strongest and most violent where there is the lowest degree of culture.
I'll type slow so scrubs like you can understand me. It's has nothing to do with your corp, your corp size, your play style, my corp. It simply has to do with ccp making the same mistakes in dust has it did in eve. I am working up a thread and hopefully even short bus kids like you will understand it. PRO makes up for its lack of skilled players by telling yourselves average is the new l33t. I don't have hatred for PRO, i have pitty. If I am reading between your lines here ( and I'm sure you'll let me know) you're suggesting that the mechanics of the planetary control system proposed share the same underlying flawed rule/mechanic structure that has led to much similar dissatisfaction with EVE sovereignty gameplay? |

Or as TEST or Goons would say... "chump change" I'm interested to see what this will do to space traffic in the region, whichever it is. It's a lowsec region, and we're going to see traffic of orbital bombartment vessels who have to stay on-grid with district sattelites. Easy pickings for pirates. Will it be worth it to pay eve pilots to escort these destroyers just to have orbital strikes? Will having space supremecy in a district (by putting an entire fleet on grid) signficantly enhance a Dust corp's chance of winning a region? Or will the risk be too high, and we'll all make do with precision strikes instead? Jesus, i thought 250 systems was bad, 250 districts is even worse. So the 6 jump rule must be because it's all within 6 jumps.... lol that could be like 20 planets in a few systems OMG i need to activate my eve lowsec pirate toon Now, it may be the medicinals talking here, but, the more I read the forums and the more I envision how the PC system is supposed to work, the more I think about the crazy sandbox possibilities.
If you were to look at the modified star map as if it were a board game...with enough coordination we could make a picture...
OH! That's the blue doughnut thing that fella was talking about. Yep, meds. Belay my last. |
