Are there fighters being tested in public betas at random? That is what this is about, if i wanted to talk about metals and their chemical reactions id head to my university across the street. (Although to be fair, i did find it kind of interesting... but not as interesting as possibly new vehicles)

The reasonable explanation would be: It seems to be the shadow of a dropping installation (blaster turret) wich moved fast in a straight line but vanished at the edge of the incidently suddenly dropping and anchoring turret. The shadow fits the sihlouette of the turrets (long center and forward wing like extensions, massive body stern) the pillars an installation rests on. On the old 'manus peak' setting there was a railgun anchored on a hillside (northern base) and one could see very clearly how long these pillars must be because they were exposed on one side (for the gun to be leveled). (reasonable explanations are boring of course)

Happened twice in that match and I think I have heard and seen a shadow since. However, I think we could be mistaking dropping combat assets, Rails and Blaster and the like

Although the carrier didn't get to jump out, the Chimera is based on a ship that was piloted into atmosphere, and that act helped the Caldari evacuate from a contested planet.
