Hi, haven't been getting any passive SP.
So far I'm missing about 10 days worth, by my estimate that's about 240,000 SP (ish) not sure of the exact passive SP per day gain.
Will this be reimbursed?
How many other people are out there asking this exact same question, if you've lost SP and petitioned and had a reply or not had a reply please add yourself into this thread, see if we can't get CCP to do something about reimbursing this.

We are aware of an issue with passive skill application and are working with our development team to create an automatic reimbursement plan for those users who may be affected as soon as possible. To get passive working again make an alt and put the passive gain on them then switch the passive back to your main, voila.
Good luck getting the missing passive sp. |

Well hopefully I'll be more fortunate. I can't see how reimbursing would be an issue, if others don't spot it they stand to lose a lot of sp which I'd consider highly unfair for newer players.

argh just seen this, i thought my sp wasnt going up. after the last reset i went in set up my character then got distracted for a full 18 days, went back in the other night and thought the sp was far too low. i figured maybe the accrual rate had been lowered, but after a couple of days hard at it (plus this thread) i now realise it hasnt been accruing at all. damn it!! now rebooting to try thr alt switch trick... |

I don't see why SP won't be reimbursed, I do know that when issues arose in EVE with extended downtimes and issues that if enough of a fuss is kicked up then CCP sorted out giving SP back.
I will update as to their response when one is received and let you guys know what they say.

So you're probably missing about the same as me, I can't remember when the last reset was done so it'll be 24,000SP per day since then, I think it was the 22nd. |

Do you know when the last reset was exactly? because if it's that long then I'm missing more than I thought. Scary that we will be over a 1/4 of our total SP down because of this..... |

I've noticed my lack of passive skill points a bit too late as well. I don't use boosters, so a fix is definitely wanted for me, but since I didn't pay I won't feel too badly if I don't. |

I imagine if you had bought a passive booster and had this flaw there would be some compensation forthcoming. I still consider having to play slay and the whole e3 expo thing to get a code payment enough! Not touching aurum until we are out of beta. Then I might pay to advance quicker, maybe... |

Yeah exactly, I'm glad I refrained from applying my booster but I have no doubt that if one had been applied a reimbursement would be nigh on guaranteed.
There should be no reason why this is any different for paying and non-paying players. The same as in EVE some people don't pay to play but would still get an SP reimbursement none the less. |

The alt switch works for me but it seems like after i log out it stops again. It really just seems like passive only accrues if i do the switch and stay logged in |

I have just realised my passive hasn't been working. I don't know how much SP I could have potentially lost :(
edit: I have gotten it going again. Although if I don't receive some kind of reimbursement I am never putting another cent into this game. I have been almost constantly running passive boosters and was planning on sustaining that.
edit 2: Received an almost instant reply to my email from support. I am told they are not investigating anything at this time unless it is in regards to a 'Stuck' issue. Guess I won't be seeing any kind of resolution for a while. A little bit disheartening. |

You can approximate it somewhat if you have a rough idea of how much youve earned by playing. Passive sp is 24,000 per day if I'm not mistaken. A passive booster increases that to 36,000 sp per day.
I'm missing at least 400,000 sp myself. Waiting for my petition to get answered. |

With the bug and a passive booster, you still get SP but at a reduced amount... about 1sp every 6 seconds.
I had this bug, petitioned it and only an automated response. I asked for compensation and I am still waiting for a reply. I wonder if I should have left the bug so it proves I had it.
I really hope I get compensation. |

Your only gaining 50sp a match because of the daily sp cap. Note: they are changing this to a weekly sp cap of about 190,000. From there on you get sp equal to the weapon points you gain, up to 1000sp.

I doubt you'll get any reimbursement, I missed out on 18 days but I also should have checked if it was working. Also this is just a beta so unless something you bought wasn't working you probably wont get reimbursed. |

There is no P2W... I come across people using AURUM weapons and dropsuits and I kick their asses!
AUR gear only allows you to get slightly better weapons than your skill dictates. This also comes with a higher PG/CPU cost so you cannot carry as much equipment either...
AUR gear does not make you win, skill does!

I missed out on up to 605k SP, too, despite my client telling me that passive SP gain is active :/
Good to see I'm not the only one with that problem and that it has caught attention.
I just submitted a support ticket for DUST reimbursement. Should I also send an email or will the ticket be enough?
Also, if I may add a suggestion: Keep the original formatting in the ticket. Some poor guy (or gal) will be hit by a wall of text instead of a formatted text when dealing with my ticket due to that. :D |

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't CCP pride themselves on keeping logs? So don't you have logs stating when there have been errors with the passive SP?
Furthermore, I would like to remind you that the sole responsability of any progamming issue rests solely on the shoulders of the CCP programmers. And still you are refusing to reimburse people who have paid real money for skill boosters?
Considering the hard line CCP takes with real money scamming, this is somewhat ironic.

Well at least they haven't said no reimbursement (as of yet) I'm glad we have had some sort of response and acknowledgement from CCP Eterne this is appreciated. Normally CCP are quite good with error logs but I can imagine they might have quite a large list, at least they will be looking at it. Lets just insure that this thread stays alive until resolved.

With the launch of the open beta i didnt get my passive skills for days i have 2 accounts i use boosters for and even made a bug report and never got a response from ccp only that they received it and my corp mates told me how to fix it if im paying real money i expect the petition to be answered and reimbursed but no nothing im disappointed in the lack of response from their tech support it is passive sp but adds up with boosters not a big loss but i did pay for sp i didnt get |

Damn, i KNEW my Passives weren't rising, but I thought it was only my imagination... And then, today, 4th of february, I found out that I missed a MASSIVE amount of Passive SP. Since the Open Beta was released... Maybe I don't wanna know how many SPs I lost. At least I used only the 30 Days Active Booster...

Obviously there is the fix you can try of creating an alt and switching the SP across and back, might be worth holding off till we get a response but that's your call... least you can say "look it's still broken"

I have had a response from CCP with the same text that is stated in the latest CCP post on this thread and my passive is working but I'm not getting the full amount of it I get 1 every 6 seconds but I'm supposed to get 1 every 3.5 seconds with no booster so I have missed out on coming to 30 days worth of half 24'000 passive sp |

I've only gotten ~the past 7 days of my passive SP gain since the wipe.
I activated a passive booster when I logged in on the first day after the move and it was giving me the "bonus passive SP" so I was unaware that the baseline value wasn't accruing properly until it recently started to be awarded in the correct manner and I was able to witness the visible difference in skill gain. I am down ~500k SP due to this bug and would very much like a resolution.

Just mentioning that I was a pre-open beta character, who has not gained Passive SP until I noticed about 5 minutes ago (I have not been very active lately).
Since noticing, I created a second merc, and flipped passive SP to them, and then back to my main to get it going again. Hopefully we will see some reimbursement for this. It might not mean much to people who are playing a lot, but the Passive XP means a lot to those who are probably most affected, those who can't play very often. |

I lost a week of passive sp, with a passive booster on it, I bought it right at the beginning of this build, and recieved no passive sp for it, it was after the 7 day passive booster expired that I found out about the fix for it, so I only lost a week with a passive booster on it. I should note as well, it is working fine since I used the swap fix.

I had this issue alittle while ago, I lost two atleast two days of SP before I noticed it. Fixed it by creating an alt gacve passive gain to him then gave passive back to my main seem to have worked. |

Hello Dust Support Team,with the change of the tranquility server direct after the server was online i plugged in both passive SP Booster.But both was not working corectly.The Aurum SP-Booster started work after a new restart but the normal Passive Booster i got to work a lot time later after i activated the passive boost for Side Char and then activated back to my Main Char.So i lost a lot of Passive Skill Points and special in the first time are every few points important.Is it possible that i get my lost Skill Points reimburst,that would be really great.

I just did the "fix" of making an alt and switching Passive between the two and started gaining passive again...
I just hope that the logs can prove that I missed a bunch of passive SP and they will reimburse it. |

I recommended a while ago, and I still think, they should have just started a counter the second they moved us to Tranquility, and that Passive SP number would be applied to every character on every account regardless of when they join. That way you give people who join weeks or months late some extra starting SP to be competitive, plus it would make alts more helpful and attractive to play.

I have 2 characters but the one with the boost was active and I've never used the other one, is there a way I can recover this? |

As the petition answer from GM Grave said, we are working on an automatic reimbursement script that should look at everyone who had their SP gain deactivated, activate it, and reimburse the points you lost.

Well, CCP Eterne, my apologies. I just sent a petition as was indicated at the beginning of the thread but should have read to the end, I guess. Oh well.
I too had this bug. I just noticed it today. Switched to an alt and back cleared it but I wasted a passive booster entirely. I'm hoping your script will detect that as well? That or refund my AUR?

Well I just send an Email with all details about it, to keep it short here:
I am using passive and active boosters.
I played alot (didnt always hit the cap but played almost every day).
If you get 24 000 SP per day then my current SP tells me I got about 6 000 less SP, well thats not taking into consideration my 50% passive booster or my playtime (50% active booster also).
So something seems to be off.
Ps.:
I think everyone has this problem more or less a few friends of mine atleast have it. |

It was put in place to keep all those players who loged into beta for a couple days then never came back from receiving passive SP after the open Beta Reset. Anyone who was online during that first week of open Beta would have read how to activate there SP in local about every 10 min.
If you are only logging on now since open Beta you realy Don't Deserve the passive SP (my opinion) you should be treated no different then a new player making his first charecter with the exception of AUR payback.

That is ridiculous. They made a mistake, so the only way to fix it is to give everyone the SP they would have gotten had they done the "fix" on day one. Beta players who planned on sitting the first month out so that they'd start out with a nice amount SP shouldn't be left out.

hmmm after finally having enuff time to play again, i just noticed that today 
if im correct im missing all passive SP since i've entered my EVE corp immediately after open beta launch
sooooo 1 month and 3 days i hope ill get my ~800k SP someday |

its all gone very quiet on this front. it will be 2 weeks tomorrow that my petition was closed and still no answer either way.
If it aint gonna get refunded - gutted - but it would be nice to know this, it will help inform my skilling up.

Nope, you're missing it. I was in your shoes a couple weeks ago though.
There are so many people who have no idea they're even supposed to be getting passive SP (myself included before I saw this thread), that I think the problem is bigger than this thread would make it seem.
I just hope they're able to fix the issue and accurately replace all the missed SP. |

Im so glad i herd about this issue on corp chat last night! Building an alt character tonight to fix for the future but what about all the past sp that weve all lost thats what i hope they fix n figure out bcuz idk how long it hasnt been working my guess is roughly a month which could add up to alot if missed sp that i would so love to get back and if that isnt possible then all the AUR spent on those failed boosters!!! |

is there a way to determine who loss sp and who didn't if not could this be considered a reason. to reset everyones sp because people abuse the system. I know what was said about no resets unless something catastrophic was to happened. is this the start of catastrophe |
