Hi, haven't been getting any passive SP.
So far I'm missing about 10 days worth, by my estimate that's about 240,000 SP (ish) not sure of the exact passive SP per day gain.
Will this be reimbursed?
How many other people are out there asking this exact same question, if you've lost SP and petitioned and had a reply or not had a reply please add yourself into this thread, see if we can't get CCP to do something about reimbursing this.

This is a mass reply sent to those who have contacted us regarding passive skill point issues.
We are aware of an issue with passive skill application and are working with our development team to create an automatic reimbursement plan for those users who may be affected as soon as possible. To get passive working again make an alt and put the passive gain on them then switch the passive back to your main, voila.
Good luck getting the missing passive sp. |

Well hopefully I'll be more fortunate. I can't see how reimbursing would be an issue, if others don't spot it they stand to lose a lot of sp which I'd consider highly unfair for newer players.

argh just seen this, i thought my sp wasnt going up. after the last reset i went in set up my character then got distracted for a full 18 days, went back in the other night and thought the sp was far too low. i figured maybe the accrual rate had been lowered, but after a couple of days hard at it (plus this thread) i now realise it hasnt been accruing at all. damn it!! now rebooting to try thr alt switch trick... |

Switching it to an Alt and then back again seems to fix the issue. Did for me. |

I don't see why SP won't be reimbursed, I do know that when issues arose in EVE with extended downtimes and issues that if enough of a fuss is kicked up then CCP sorted out giving SP back.
I will update as to their response when one is received and let you guys know what they say.

So you're probably missing about the same as me, I can't remember when the last reset was done so it'll be 24,000SP per day since then, I think it was the 22nd. |

Do you know when the last reset was exactly? because if it's that long then I'm missing more than I thought. Scary that we will be over a 1/4 of our total SP down because of this..... |

I've noticed my lack of passive skill points a bit too late as well. I don't use boosters, so a fix is definitely wanted for me, but since I didn't pay I won't feel too badly if I don't. |

I imagine if you had bought a passive booster and had this flaw there would be some compensation forthcoming. I still consider having to play slay and the whole e3 expo thing to get a code payment enough! Not touching aurum until we are out of beta. Then I might pay to advance quicker, maybe... |

Yeah exactly, I'm glad I refrained from applying my booster but I have no doubt that if one had been applied a reimbursement would be nigh on guaranteed.
There should be no reason why this is any different for paying and non-paying players. The same as in EVE some people don't pay to play but would still get an SP reimbursement none the less. |

The alt switch works for me but it seems like after i log out it stops again. It really just seems like passive only accrues if i do the switch and stay logged in |

Don't hold your breath, I put in a petition about 2 weeks ago and other than the automated response nothing.

I petitioned the only response I got was to activate passive SP to an alt then back to the one I prefer, but nothing about reimbursing the lost passive SP. after that the petition was closed few days after... |

I have just realised my passive hasn't been working. I don't know how much SP I could have potentially lost :(
edit: I have gotten it going again. Although if I don't receive some kind of reimbursement I am never putting another cent into this game. I have been almost constantly running passive boosters and was planning on sustaining that.
edit 2: Received an almost instant reply to my email from support. I am told they are not investigating anything at this time unless it is in regards to a 'Stuck' issue. Guess I won't be seeing any kind of resolution for a while. A little bit disheartening. |

You can approximate it somewhat if you have a rough idea of how much youve earned by playing. Passive sp is 24,000 per day if I'm not mistaken. A passive booster increases that to 36,000 sp per day.
I'm missing at least 400,000 sp myself. Waiting for my petition to get answered. |
