Please dont call weapons that actually you have to work for(Skill point wise) OP... Its a ton of skill points to upgrade to the GEK variant. And its supposed to be strong. Its the GEK for crying out loud.
Its most definitely not OP.
Reason why-
1- It takes a lot of skill points too obtain
2- If the dev's reduce its power then it will basically be the assault rifle, (If this happens I will Rage quit)
3- Its the GEK Variant. It is meant to be powerful, better then the reguler assault rifle variant
Once again please refrain from calling hard to get variant weapons OP... Its annoying |

The Gek does the same damage as the standard Assault Rifle with a 5% damage mod...so, yea. That's really the end of that. |

Yah... I was going to say... I've emptied an entire clip into a heavy's upper torso and head and he'll only be slightly into armor. If that heavy has a chain gun and decides to shoot me while I shoot him I don't even have the time to empty a clip before I'm dead. |

Exactly, I actually have mixed feelings about the damage reduction for all advanced and proto weapons. There used to be a 10% difference in power between each level, now its only 5%. |

Each tier up basically gives you a free fit damage mod.
Doing 5% more damage doesn't make it OP, the 60 rounds clip size is great though. I guess I can see people thinking that's ok after being stuck with the militia gear |

do the math kids creo does less damage per clip than a duvolle and maybe less than the gek ill check later, get gek and call it good proto ar's have no use in this game, buff them or take them out... |

Well I can't speak for everyone, but I decided to concentrate my initial SP on Assault suits and ARs because that's what I'm most familiar with in other FPS games. I thought I'd get the rest of the weapons trained to one so I could play around with them and see what I like, but until I decide what to do next I keep going with a powerful AR setup. If there's a larger population of people thinking like me, it may just be that ARs seem overpowered because so many players have their AR skills trained way up over everything else... |

I use the Gek and its pretty good wouldn't say its op, when im dueling a Heavy i can take out his shield very fast however when i get to that armor man............ lol if i can get 1 reload off if i juke him well enough he's dead otherwise the heavy will always win. |
