Didn't see the removed comment, but what ever it was it apparently wasn't good. Attacking Kain like that I cannot condone. He has been a fair and honest poster here in the forums despite how a handful of his corpmates may behave in these parts.

On behalf of ZionTCD, I would like to say that we support the testing of the Dust and Eve and how they work together.

At the same time, I would also like to let everyone know that when they were asked about helping the community in the past thorugh more actual testing of this sort, Zitro said that Imperfects had no intention of improving the community through testing of the Beta whatsoever. The irony is that they now think it a good idea to do this, and are attempting to test the game 2 weeks before release when they have had several months to do so leading up to now.

As a result, while members of ZionTCD are welcome to participate in what looks to be a fun and possibly worthwhile test, I can only shake my head at the Imperfects attempts to improve an image built on hate, derision, and blatant disregard for the community as a whole to this point.

To be fair here, your guys' PR ability (if you can call it that) hasn't been the greatest. I'm not knocking that some of you guys have done your fair share of bringing to light kinks in this game throughout testing, but when a good portion of your members openly mock, destructively criticize, and in general bad mouth most of the community, it doesn't lend itself to a remembering or caring about what you guys say. With, of course, the exception of a few.

Are you aware that the badmouthing began from people attacking us? And that this "good portion" of our members is about 10% or so? It began with us staying silent and people creating rumors about us and insinuating false information and then insulting and attacking us, calling us ringers and cheaters. Do you think that was fair? Why wasn't anyone coming to our defense then? Instead, some of our guys begin lashing back and "omg why are all you Imperfects such jerks!?"

And it doesn't matter where your statement came from, Forlorn, when it's wrong.

This is the kind of mentality that I don't like about this whole thing. It's all on us. It's all our fault for the way we act. We're the immature ones. Except somehow it's not immature for the initial attacks and accusations. There's nothing wrong the people who spread rumors, the people who call us cheaters (who still continue to do so), the people who attack us and disregard any legitimate idea or suggestion we have while it's acknowledged and discussed if someone different makes a duplicate thread on the exact same topic. It's just "oh another IMP QQ thread" and then turned into a bickering insult fest.

This is why some of our members do what they do. There's really no going back. You're not going to change your opinion because any move toward civility (see: this thread) turns into "first reply edited by GM for being disrespectful" and "I can only shake my head at the Imperfects attempts to improve an image..." How can people get on your good side if you're unwilling to let them? As far as some of our guys are concerned, **** it, you're not going to let us escape the "bad boy" image, so we might as well embrace it.

EDIT: I'm not also not biased against your corp - there are a handful that I enjoy bantering with and talk to (Cyn for example). As for your testing, Cyn is the only one I've noticed say anything constructive on the forums, which I read every day when I'm at work waiting for the phone to ring.

I keep going back and forth in my self argument on that matter. I'm upset that any noob can throw a nade and slaughter me with weak gun game - but on the other hand I don't want this game to be low popped. Then again - I hate the children that come from catering to casuals. then again - I hate not getting full games.

Back n forth - back n forth. Pros and cons to everything. I want this to be skilled based too so that the best are the best - but I don't want a cult hit and games like that tend to be only that.
