"Dust OB" will be the official channel for Saturday's EVE/Dust event. I could use some more moderator's EvE side in the EU and AU timezones. If you are interested please contact Kane Spero through evemail.
It would be a great help for the folks EvE side if we could get some EU and AU Dust corporation directors announcing potential and confirmed corp matches (System - Planet - District - Time) in channel.
Let's get as much interest in Dust EVE side as we can!

The channel, "Dust OB", will be open to everyone. It's going to be for primarily communicating to the EVE guys the locations for the Orbital support and when OBs are ready. |

Wow, I actually got a chance to read through this thread. Good times.
Back to the topic:
The "Dust OB" guys are planning on having another event this weekend since we had gotten several request from EVE corps that weren't able to get themselves prepped for FW in time. I'm hoping these will actually get bigger. This will also be one of the last Orbital Events happening before the open beta starts, so now is the time to get used to coordinating with EVE pilots before the rush of new folks. I'll be discussing this weeks prizes with the folks running the event and see if we can't up the ante. |

At the same time, I would also like to let everyone know that when they were asked about helping the community in the past thorugh more actual testing of this sort, Zitro said that Imperfects had no intention of improving the community through testing of the Beta whatsoever. The irony is that they now think it a good idea to do this, and are attempting to test the game 2 weeks before release when they have had several months to do so leading up to now.
As a result, while members of ZionTCD are welcome to participate in what looks to be a fun and possibly worthwhile test, I can only shake my head at the Imperfects attempts to improve an image built on hate, derision, and blatant disregard for the community as a whole to this point. i support this post +1 and i do it cuz hes right not because im in ZION as well

And many more.
I hate going off topic here but between me, Mobius Wyvern, Eve Daniel, Jaiden Longshot, and many others we have been testing the Orbital Interaction as soon as we could get our hands on it as thoroughly as possible. The goal of all this is to find as many of the bugs as quickly as possible and hopefully have fun doing it at the same time. WIth these events maybe we can build some more interest in this game so it can be even more successful. Is this testing selfless? **** no. I don't want something I've invested hundreds of hours and a lot of money to collapse at the gate or down the road because I didn't seize an opportunity to turn some features inside and out and test the **** out of them to find that one illusive game crippling bug.
All that said I appreciate that ZION participated in the event and I look forward to their future participation in community events like these.
