We had the best game of our day going up against them, it was a great match. I got to own some Imps and got owned too. Fun times. But the repeated battle between Bob and Zan was the highlight of the match.

People like zitro are the main reason I'm saying the imperfects will fall apart: to keep a corp together, don't recruit like some sports team; recruit people who you can trust and whose egos won't get in the way, or give your corp a bad rep.

No advantage? Because 100 mil ISK + Whatever they "exploited" from EvE, tons of officer gear, and a permanent standard LAV isn't an advantage at all.

I was not trying to troll anyone, not referring to skill placement (if you read the whole post you'll notice I actually praise you guys for being really good at skilling up very precisely to accentuate and support your playstyles) merely pointing out that some of your guys make bad decisions from time to time, whether they be poorly worded forum posts that draw unnecessary hate or poor strategies in battle when overwhelmed (which typically only happens when you are the only decent players on your team and your blue dots end up getting you killed because your guys tried to fortify their defense rather than flanking or falling back).

Also, in particular, the abrasive way many of your players take compliments and immediately try to think of them as insults which need to be fended off as if they have some hidden underlying meaning. I'll not get any further into this one since it's more of a personal issue that need not be addresses in a public forum.

Yep HMG is actually the only weapon I haven't got around to trying out so I gained some weight, and HowDidThatTaste has taught me the ways of the Heavy a few days ago.

I can express a wider range of meaning by using more words. I'm not an eloquent speaker, but when typing I am able to express what I am trying to say and my meaning thoroughly using words. NBA, NFL, NHL, Soccer, just about sports teams across the world. Some make it, most don't but they all have big egos and talk a lot of smack but they do win.

Even the nicest corp will have members that talk smack, ROFL, ZION, STB all of them talk a lot of game.

You think IMP's will fall apart because of egos, but I have yet to see anything that points to that conclusion yet. Please show me proof of this or drop it. Maybe its because you fear the IMP's that you want to believe that they will blow up. I know the feeling.. ;)

I have friends in many corps, but I can honestly tell you that I have heard nothing from my buddies in IMPS about egos.

The rumor of our demise have been greatly exaggerated. I have been with Imps for a month now and so far there has not been a single drama incident. We leave the drama to those on the forum who despise our very existence.

One last thing though. Sleepy, how are you liking rolling as a heavy? I never expected you to go that route. After sniping for so long I thought the speed crash would keep you away from heavy fits.

I could make that in one month on dust if I tried....I suspect I would be pretty burnt out because I would only use free gear and we all know from zitros post that free doesn't mean good. But seriously, Bob....you remind me of all the eve guys who said fps players don't have the wiles to be in new Eden....being clever and smart is not a difficult thing to accomplish. Twitch skills are actually harder to acquire since they take muslcle memory and acute control. Quick, in the moment tactics are harder to pull off then a long drawn out plan.

We need more threads like these - it's refreshing.

And most of the hate on imperfects can be landed on the feet of a few of them - not them as a whole. One of them in a earlier thread helped me realize how wrong it was to generalize the imperfects. It's not there fault they have a few people who think too highly of themselves and devolve every thread they touch into a whose who of ego stroking.

Most of them really do want to help this game to succeed and they just do it in there own way.

The problem with your "translations" is that you take everything negative you can from a statement, compress it down to as short a statement you can, and leave any meaningful info by the wayside and your translations become less accurate than a Japaneese-to-English translation written by someone who knows neither language.

A truer TL;DR would be: My words are for those with the will/brain power to read them.

But that short little summary does not encompass the full range of the specifics in the statement.

Morale of the story watch what you say to people, because you never know how people might respond.

Although I have had my fair share of negligence back and forth with people from the IMP"s will say that their teamwork is outstanding, they communicate (know this cause I joined a squad a while back when I was soloing trying modules out.) They essentially anticipate your next move and about 90% of the time they analyzed your move correctly before you even realize they just read you like a book.
