I know the feeling.. ;) I have friends in many corps, but I can honestly tell you that I have heard nothing from my buddies in IMPS about egos.
The rumor of our demise have been greatly exaggerated. I have been with Imps for a month now and so far there has not been a single drama incident. We leave the drama to those on the forum who despise our very existence. |

I think a lot of corps fear what IMP's could become and want there to be ego battles and strife inside IMP's but I have yet to see anything that remotely demonstrates that conclusion. You would think with so many Chiefs and not enough Indians there would be issues, but yet I see none.
Same for STB, players hoped we would blow up because of egos, but it never happened. Which is shows that Dust/EVE is not like COD or BF where this is a common occurrence. |

Though I suppose I am semi biased since it's my own thread... Either way, it was fun to have a bunch of imps all chatting in one public place. Unfortunate that we're still missing Reaper and several others though.
Once again though, your welcome to those of you who said thanks for the compliments.
One last thing though. Sleepy, how are you liking rolling as a heavy? I never expected you to go that route. After sniping for so long I thought the speed crash would keep you away from heavy fits. |

Here's what I'm saying: they're recruiting people because they're "good"- not because they trust them not to stab them in the back in the long run (this is the eve universe, not a sports team, like I said). You also need ALLIES which the egocentric attitudes push away. Then there's just pissing people off, which puts a massive target on your back (most of their forum users are master at this). My main prediction is they'll make an incredibly stupid recruitment choice, which will amplify the other flaws. |

Yep. Exactly what's going on. We don't even talk to people, we just look at the KDR leaderboard, since it's the only that matters, and then send out invites starting from the top. |

Let me see your corp's war barge reaching planets by itself. IF you get the money to buy one. First off ccp does not plan on having warbarges fly through space for quite awhile. Secondly they my never mess with implementing the need to fly warbarges through space. 3rdly why the hell are you talking about something that is not in the game and ccp has not even mentioned it as a feature in the game. 4thly if it is a feature why the hell would we go through the effort of moving the warbarge when we can just have who is hiring us do that also.
No matter what if a corp wants ground control and do not want to keep paying for a losing team they will have to pay for the best and set them up with what they need.
And lastely how do you know if we do or don't got uber eve support.
