I have swarms and forges that work just fine. I can use plenty of different weapons and have skilled into them as such. Genova justs QQ because thats all the game he has.

I realize getting 64/0 matches is absurd but those were the ones where nobody was trying to shoot us down, it only takes 1 or 2 prototype forge blasts or swarm rockets. Teamwork and the right stuff takes care of any vehicle. CCP you give them the right stuff they just complain because they cant use teamwork. GIVE US THE MISSILE BLAST DAMAGE BACK!!! lol Someone wants to go 60/0 again.
I've been a gunner before and it's not that hard to get near direct hits from a dropship. I do agree that they were over nerfed, CCP has a knack for that. Like Garrett Blacknova said, "a SLIGHT range buff, a SLIGHT splash damage buff, OR a SLIGHT buff to radius." Me personally, I would focus on both a range buff and a damage buff, but defiantly not back to where it originally was. If dropships are meant to do what CCP claims they are meant to do I would focus more on buffing their hp so they can take a hit and not focusing so much on the amount of damage their turrets do. |

They are supposed to be Air-Buses, not missle platforms. We are getting more air vehicles that will add the "killer" aspect back into it. When the fighters come out, it'll then be infantrys turn to cry again. |

Bashing a player for what they are good at doing. I have had gunners that can't hit the broadside of an mcc. He has put time and sp in buffing his turret skills. If someone took your AR away you would be angry as well. As it seems you are acting angrier than the majority of pilots and gunners affected by this nerf. If you aren't an avid dropship gunner then your opinions on missle damage or dropships in general is useless. If missles were too effective then reduce their effectiveness. Not turn them into bottlerockets. |

Yea the QQ that will be Dust when the actual damage dealers roll out. Although one would assume the addition of fighters would keep gunships somewhat in check. |

As a dropship pilot, I LOVE the changes. Now I finally feel like I'm doing something that requires a little finesse and piloting skills. I always refused to do the lame flying in a wide circle raining missiles BS most of the other pilots were doing, and now it feels like actually flying evasively and thinking about where you're at on the map has a purpose.
Dropships are just fine, and are more fun to fly post hotfix than they were before, don't let the cry babies tell you otherwise. |

Personally i think the HMG for heavy's should also be aible to be fit on any kind of vehicle aswell. That would give for example LAV's their firepower back and dropships who would fly close to the ground still a threat and not just be viewed as a flying pinata. |

Ok. So I played a bit with a rocket installation. Not my skill set but hey. Splash damage reduction fine. Splash Radius reduction is a bit too much. Range reduction is too much. Dispersion is so bad I had rockets shooting off out of the outer reticule and even hitting the buildings well outside my firing line. I agree that it's now more broken than before. And remember, this is coming from someone who hardly uses rockets. |
