Because having your face on your gun doesn't decrease the amount of kick a gun has. I am assuming that hipfire isn't actually at the hip but rather positioned just like it would be when you're ADS but your head is up. Movement should effect recoil. Not whether your head is closer to your gun. Obviously if you are ADS you wont be moving
Do you know what it would take to improve hit detection? You don't just tell the computer to fix it and its done. It'll take time and it'll get done. |

They both go down in the same fashion.-á There r some other issues too dealing with rendered models and such. But the optimal range and auto aim could be culprits for some. I'm not complaining, if u've played with me, u know I get my kills. Just thinking through the issues though.-á |

No but putting the buttstock to your shoulder decreases recoil. No one holds a rifle to there shoulder to fire without looking down the sight. Also we practiced moving drills while firing a weapon all the time and it doesn't effect recoil at all now if you are trying to sprint yes it should and it does. Firing a weapon while moving is all about pacing. So if you want t talk about these things please fire a weapon learn some ready up drills before coming to me please. I've fired many weapons in the last 9 years of my life to know what I'm talking about. |

The stability issues involved in planetside 2 are rather mind boggling if you ask me. How many bullet tractories have to be plotted, explosions. Let's just keep this on topic. (re-read the op). No more planetside2 comparisons. The stability on this build is great. |

Just a comment on the PS2 talk. Been watching the live streams and reading chatter about the play so far. They seem to be having similar issues with hit detection and fps mechanics as well. And they do have quit a few crashes.
But back to DUST. Its quite possible the servers are part of hit detection. Can't wait to see how scouts will be affected. Maybe we can actually drop some of those speed freaks. Plus, if they tried to put every single fix, update, add on, etc., in the notes, who know how long that read would be. I'm sure they put the most important, and most called for changes in there.
I am a bit confused on when we will see the update. Maybe I just missed the clarification. I have heard we will see it the 21st. But notes say next week. When will we actually be able to play the new build? |

I'm hoping the aiming controls on the ds3 are greatly improved in the new build , as atm they need work while ads. While firing, the sensitive while ads seems to slows down to a really slow speed wich feels very weird, find it hard to keep on moving targets while firing. Ccp you need to really do some work on your controls. This is extremely important , I don't feel in full control of my aim at all compared to other shooters like bfbc2 , bf3 or cod. Ty |

In IRC chat they had this little birdy say the build might come out before the 21st but not later. |

My only complaint which is still valid is the lack of proper documentation and information. Which is a problem, but then again this seems to be the standard MO of most developers. Not that I won't stop bringing it up. Nothing like a dead horse beatin' am I right? |

Well if you played the replication build and you read the e3 patch notes, youll notice a crap tonn of improvments missing from the list.
Dust 514 does not have the best patch notes in the world. |
