curently the left click does nothing. so what it could do is when you are down, you could ping the map for medical assistance to be revived...
because when you are on coms, someone will say
"i need a revive" or "does anyone has nano-injector" and i say "yes i do where are you...."
and by that time when we figure out where the dude is, he dies that brings another point, fight to survive. you could mash some buttons or do a random series of buttons (like God of War) to extend your time while you are down for another 5-20 sec. (complexity of button series would increase with time)
and also show timer too, how much time does medic have to get there... |

i would like a skill to extend bleed out and possible resist getting bleed out so they would have to put more shoots into you to finish you off. |

love it, I'll comment later with more suggestions, the deaths in dust should be badass, like when your down in punch out on the nes. :P
But seriously, that kind of gameplay is just a lot of fun. Not like, you can't shoot people while your down, but you can stuggle to survive, and if your side wins you'll get a revive, it would be exciting! |

I think it should just be automatic. Downed people should show up as a blinky blink icon on the screen and the minimap. |

Greetings,
Traynor Youngs wrote:I think it should just be automatic. This... The when they pass out, it should trigger automatically and automatically shut off when they die / suicide. Keep in mind that we don't actually die until our body takes a certain amount of damage or we suicide. Otherwise our characters are laying there effectively comatose. And that is the state you need to be in for the nano-injector to work.

I think the idea is we can't move if our suits break. Like we are so tied into them, that if they break down we aren't strong enough to move them. They are super heavy.
Would be awesome if the weight of the suit effected the state you would go into. Maybe scouts can sort thumble out of the way to duck for cover and wait for a revive. While the heavy is like, well **** I'm stuck here. |

i was thinking along the lines of tractor beam... a logi suit would become immobile, and could slowly pull wounded solders into the cover to be revived... |

When you go down your blue arrow thing should start flashing like a mad man, a beacon? Then you team actually know you have gone down. |

Ive mentioned this in a few posts, a mini map indicator for those down and for those who can revive them[red cross symbol for example]...then both could see the distance between them[downed and reviver]. |

When a soldier goes down, any teammate with an injector should be able to see that player as a revive target.
The player who's on the ground should be given, at the very least, a range notification to the nearest injector-equipped ally. |

awesome addition, ty! I find healing people difficult as well, and just as tough to find them if you didn't see them fall. I feel that could be a reason why few people play logistic (medic)--what's the point of playing a role if you can never fill it? am i right?
Also, it seems like less people even know that a logistics merc can rep/heal a teammate's dropsuit. I have to constantly chase people down who even have a sliver of life left just to administer a nanohive... You'd think people would come to you for that heh
Maybe do something like BF3, where one button can request a ride from a vehicle and heal/rep from a logi--the action would just depend on who you are aiming at when you press the button....? just my 2 cents |

I've mentioned this in a couple of posts, but this one seems to have some Dev attention (which is nice) so thought I'd mention it here:
Is there some way that we can have the revive function combined with tthe "Use" button? So instead of having to switch to the nano-thingy, then resing. All you'd have to do when having a nano-thingy on your dropsuit is walk up to your downed team mate and pushing Circle when prompted. MAG uses this mechanic. Fewer button presses are always good :) |

Every class of infantry has their own class weapon, all except the medic. It would be nice to have a primary or secondary weapon designed just for us. Say like, a weapon you can shoot at your own team members that heals or shields the target team member. Or, how about heal grenades? Don't get me wrong, I like the AR, but I'd also like the choice to have a secondary weapon that I can shoot and heal/shield my own team members. |

Repair Nanohive?
Repair Tool? There's an AUR Repair Tool in the marketplace, but it doesn't work at present. Nanohives are supposed to be able to repair stuff, so that's a possibility. |

this is amazing news but begs the question does this mean your fixing/fixed the mini map? if so that makes it even better if not makes me curious about how your going to do it, are you just adding that one thing to mini map or putting it on screen and if so how close/far do you have to be to tell if someones down? sry just my thoughts i will understand if you dont answer and would rather show when the next build is out. |

If it's not working for you, it's a bug, and that's worth reporting in the "bugs" subforum. |
