was buying forge gun operations (the book, not spending the skillpoints) took forever to load so i dashboarded out, upon return i had - skillpoints and still no forge gun operation... |

Happened to me too... As soon as I noticed it at -120k I hit the ps button and shut down... When I re-entered the game, My sp was back to normal... Thats a BAD bit... bad bit... now go back to your left corner and remain a zero!  |

Got the same problem, I'm on -300,000 SP when I had (I think) 100,000 to spend before I logged out. I restarted my game, which some people said that I should do (they had the same issue and fixed it by doing that), and it just went to -400,000. Come on CCP, I want to upgrade some of my skills and I don't want to have to either:
1. Keep playing games until it gets to a positive number
2. Delete my character which I started doing very well with |

Same here, I'm not sure but it seems like the [-number_of_SP] I got when restarting the game was the same amount of SP I earned from my last game... |

I had this happen too, but sadly I don't remember the specifics. I saw this thread earlier so I knew it was already reported, figured I'd just add myself to the list when I got done playing.
I do remember, though, that the end of the match where it happened, it looked like it was going to be over a million negative, as it didn't have enough room to display and said something like -,068,453 (not the exact numbers, but it was led with a comma). When I returned from the post-game screen, it was about -160k or something? Enough that I barely broke back into positive by the 4th game, getting about 40-60k per match.
I haven't relogged in yet, I didn't have anything I could buy without >250k so I didn't worry about it. Taking a break real quick though, and will jump back in after I finish a food break. |

The SP showing as negative is only a display issue (and why it is fixed sometimes when a person restarts) and you aren't actually losing SP. Even if you show as having negative SP you are still gaining SP and should see it correctly by the following downtime. |

Mine fixed itself after relogging. Going to keep a log of values and what I do to see where it triggers, if that'll be helpful at all to you guys.

I'd keep playing, unless you want to use multiple characters and have them specialize in different things. You're not losing that SP, it's just temporarily becoming unavailable. You're still earning it, and when it corrects itself, it'll be there for you to spend (it's fun to forget about several hundred thousand SP and have a giant spending spree waiting for you when you log on). |

Funny you should say that, I had that happen while buying shotgun operation skill book and I have neg sp bug too. Had -295.000 sp, after 2 restarts its fixed now I have 162.999 sp. |

I've had this happen to me twice now and a restart/relog did not fix it. |

Once again I got -sp bug... Had -800,000sp... Usually upon relog it fixes itself... This time I had to relog twice and it fixed itself. I came out if a match, checked skills and saw negative. |

Just went into the asset menu and it just hung with the circle spinning for about 5 mins, restarted the ps3 and now have the neg sp bug ... Looks like its happening when that circle loading thing is happening maybe |

I am also reporting the negative sp glitch. I have a step by step encounter with the glitch as shown in this thread. It might help the devs fix this for good.

As for how much SP I have, It has me currently at 742,118 SP Total with 86,778. Also, I just restarted yet again and its now positive once more. Hope my thread and this one helps you guys fix this.
Edit: Now I am at 474,096 SP Total and 242,704 SP unspent. Looks like it's eating all of my skill points. |

Not sure if this is relevent, but it seems, when you win a match, sp is added to your total, and when you lose the match, sp seems to be subtracted from your total. It is something i have noticed all day today.

Happened again.... I got disconnected when going to the merq hq while awaiting the battle to start. When I came back I had neg sp.... So I restarted again....
Original sp: Unknown
Before restart sp: -791029
After restart sp: 103987
If I recall correctly, the first time this happened I was lagging pretty bad during a battle. |

I'm getting negative sp now. a message came up and said that the game was corrupted and said to reinstall but the game still works fine, after that message i logged back in and i had negative sp. This is what happened to me on tuesday. |

Just encountered the negative SP bug. Total after ending a match was less than what I started with, although the entire value wasn't negative.
The initial value was around 650,000 sp. Played a match and when I checked my sp total I was down to 342,156. I tried restarting the DUST 514 app to no avail. Found this thread and restarted the PS3. Everything is back to normal at 840,542.
Annoying but not game breaking. |

i too am showing negative SP. haven't tried relogging yet. will do that. but i had 188,000SP and came back to -265,000SP ugh.. i hate this. even though its just a graphical issue and is fixed after DT, i still am unable to buy any Skills whenever this graphical bug is happening. |

I just reached the point where, while it's not staying negative, it's not back to where it should be following restarts. Maybe it'll be fixed when I log back in after a little break, but here's the short version:

Not sure if this info helps at all, let us know if you need anything specific. I didn't do anything outside of playing several games during that time, I don't think I checked the market after the 30-60 min break. The only other thing besides queuing up was check the corp chat and talk a little. |

i am lucky enough to of won all my matches today. I am in the negative so i can confirm it is not subtracting . |

Just reporting in that I am also experiencing neg sp, after turning off the system and logging back in a few times. Don't know if I can contribute much else, except that earning positive sp after a match made the number more positive (as if I gained some back, but still very much in the hole).
I am glad the devs are already aware, and hopefully this can be fixed without resetting characters. |

Negative SP here also. I was training a skil (I bought the skillbook and injected it, so, it was level 0 (zero)) to level 1 (which I had enough SP to).
After confirm the training, it went up to lvl 2 and "subtracted" enough amount of SP for 2 levels, rendering me with a negative value. |

- Upgraded Armor Upgrading to LV 2 or 3
- Went to check my loadouts and ALL of them said INVALID NOT ENOUGH ITEMS. (even militia)
- Restarted.
- Fixed. But now at -1.5 mill SP
- Restarted.
- SP FIxed.
- First Game.
- Message from playstation. "The game you are playing is corrupted and needs to be deleted and re-installed."
- Playstation Resets itslef.
Question:
Do I need to delete my game and reinstall.
I am worried that I will not be able to download it and install it again since I dont see the game on PS Store and I have lost my beta key.

Pretty sure the corrupt data workaround is just restart the game again. The game should be in your Download List through Account Management if you ever need to redownload, though. |

Hit by this bug again.
Came back to be at -250K or so.
Interesting to note that the times I played earlier in the day I just shut down the console from the PS menu, but this time I quit the game first. Then find the bug when I come back. |

update: tried logging back in, skill pionts are still negative. going to wait till after the downtime, hopefully problem is fixed permanetly this time. shouldnt even be in the game that you can go negative on SP |

i now have this too, whats interesting is that it was mentioned it was a graphical issue, which could make sense seeing as on the front character selection page i have 4.5 million when it should be 4.7
i had 4.7 mil sp with just over 800k unallocated, i reloged once and the amount went down to4.6 on the front character selection page with -100k on the skills page, reloged again it went down to 4.5
earlier today i relogged a couple of times and also lost 100k each time

Alright so I am not sure if this is the issue or will work for anyone else.
I quit game initially using PS button and returned to negative SP. I tried quitting and restarting a few times (same way using PS button) in hope it would reset itself. No luck.
Finally I quit game using he Xross Media Bar (XMB) and when I returned all was as it should have been. With previous SP returned and all SP I had earned playing since I went negative
Maybe you can give it a shot and it will work for you too. Good Luck!!! |

i went down from 51,000 SP to -163,000 SP when I was trying to buy a skill with a red x in on the requirements icon. Thought I was unlocking it then the loading circle popped up and wouldn't go away. I restarted the game and know my SP are negative. |

Sp gained in combat made the negative value smaller.
Attempting a restart.

-turned the system off from the game and relogged.

I've had this too. - 77, 000 unallocated Skillpoints (about 110k in total) so spent a couple of games earning them back. I figured i had overspent somehow. Good to know it's a bug though. |

all 3 of my characters have negative SP atm, one got it back once but can't tell if i get back all that i got during negative SP playing. hear that people do but I'm still kinda worry to play then it ends up all i done was for nothing or only some of it gets given back. hope its fixed soon and see a whole bunch of skill points i earned, there waiting for me to spend |

I have the same issue.
All fine and dandy yesterday but logging in today -ve SP...
Tried logging out and back in still -ve. Tried the fix suggested by RydogV (logging out using XMB rather than directly from PS button) and still the same.
Total SP 393k
Available SP -
1st time - 231k
2nd time - 278k
3r time - 231k again. |

Another here with the same problem, I didnt suffer it before.
Start with 9.k the sesion and end it with -151.k
Nexts fights reduce de total negative SP with de reward. |

I've already reported and had this fixed. I'm just going to state what occurred beforehand.
I lose connection to the PSN..well frequently (Wi-fi), after I lost connection it returned me to the PS3 menu. Upon relogging I went from 20k to nearly -200k.
The GMs are very quick about fixing this (less then 4 hours in what could only be the middle of the night for them). |

If it helps anyone, I got the bug this morning, and on a whim I deleted the 3mb dust configuration save file from both the ps3 game save manager and the playstation plus online storage (NOT THE GAME ITSELF). When I played again it was fixed and I haven't gotten the bug since |
