I agree with you even though im not a loyalist. My StormTrooper will not complain, giving up range or HP for damage is a reasonable sacrifice. I'd think that 10m nerf would be too much though.

Still, what about the BreachAR? Its a monster in CQC & mid-range. The TAC is good for longer range. I'm wondering how the nerf-buff vanilla AR would compete with the Breach.

If you have to nerf HMG ranges then I'm for that too , might just help with the melee as well as the SG's not registering as well . 70 to 80 m is just too far to me and I could be in my optimal and still get out DPS's by a CR because my shots are not registering and most of the time I have to re-fire two sometimes three times before the damage registers . Could have something to do with distance ? I'm for anything that limits the shortcomings of this game having more of an influence then actual skill . Might just solve some problems as well but yes , I would love for the AR to be the CQC king that it's suppose to be . Maybe if all rifles had a range nerf and the AR received a slight buff relative to a certain distance , that could be possible and it could make for better gunfights . What would this do? 1 it will make the assault rifle pretty much Suck at mid ranges 2 it will become a CQC monstrosity 3 it will be encouraged to be used with Gallente suits (tanky and fast like they should be) My personal opinion- Id be completely fine with this. I like cqc. It's my strong point. 1v1. And with my Gallente assault, what better combo could there be? It's the perfect Gallente assault. Pro- op in CQC, will do a great job against armor and will be like eve blasters that "wreck in close range" Cons- caldari suits will start to whine BUT they should know that we have less range now. I agree with you even though im not a loyalist. My StormTrooper will not complain, giving up range or HP for damage is a reasonable sacrifice. I'd think that 10m nerf would be too much though. Still, what about the BreachAR? Its a monster in CQC & mid-range. The TAC is good for longer range. I'm wondering how the nerf-buff vanilla AR would compete with the Breach. The other varients are ok imo I wreck with the breach but I like to use all my rifles and I really hate seeing how low performance my vanilla rifle gives in cqc.
