Erm KD doesnt matter if you dont push and clear objectives. Sure on ambush its ok but on skirmish you need to attack and hold objectives. Every decent HAV driver can go 20 kills or more without a single death. But taking objectives and supporting the team on a assault is different. As i played against him on the corp battles he sat back and tried to do long range shots on other tanks. While our team kept them on a single objective down the whole match and he lost. Now how is this contributing to the team in any way? |

He did what he could, with what he had.
Without a squad you dont last nearly as long and Sagaris with a rail gun is a very decent sniping tool. Im not refuting what you are all saying about KDR and team work its just as a solo player he does well from what Ive observed. I cant watch the guy 24/7 but what I have seen has given me respect for the guy. |

You're in luck. The game is in relatively early beta still, so there are no pros. Yesterday dropships were the thing, today tanks are the thing, and tomorrow SMGs may be the big deal.
Corps don't guarantee anything but playing with the same handful of people more often. Take your time and read through the thread to get a feel for who you're giving respect to and asking to be around. Maturity and reliability are more important than claimed skill or population since the game can change anyday, and population just means body collector (stagnation is pretty much assured).
If you want to learn, pop around the forums, there are great info threads on everything from piloting ships (which is a cool deep role), to anti tank strategies, to skill allottment, newbie guides, etc. |
