yeh my job for STB is to spec for corporation specifics an an for the MCC if thats CCP plan of action . I will be undertaking the RTOS version of Dust while my MERCS handle the FPS an field play.
Not to say any other STB that shows good leadership an intelligence would not be asked to spec for these roles, but for now it will b my problem. Or, that i wont be running an gunning during corp battles it will depend on who is with us when we battle luanch.
A True leader is battle tested an inspires his men/women
i intend to command the field with an earned respect just as i have done in other games.
This is why most new recruits in STB feel safe an secure becasue there leader is here active an aware, proven himself, an not on the sidelines sleeping. |

You guys weren't bad though, worked okay as a team except for your lack of heavy weapons on your heavy suits to help deal with those tanks that kept harassing you all day :(
Lol, ridiculing a high dps, high ehp dropsuit build just shows how little you know. Wasn't that bad an attempt to seem to know what you're talking about.. |

grimm how old was that quote lol .. anyhow STB has guys testing all kinda of builds since the begining of the beta ..out a heavy suit with cardio mods an a high dps duolvulle AR can actually hold a postion long enough to get some support from another obejective, we have worked with many builds i prefer the assualt suits an smg / AR suits.. All in all please feel free to check us out .
Look at STLCarlos builds proto swarm /smg
or the forge /smg loadout of tednuget
All in all STB knows always gets the underrated title, but its fine with us we have plans for people nows your chance to get in with us instead of against us

I am one of the members that joined STB from Dust Beta. I have to say, some of the best players in this game are playing with STB. But that aside these are good people, fun to chat with, very, VERY knowledgeable about the game and good gaming tactics.
If you're looking for a great corp then STB is the place to be. Glad Quickgloves found many of us and brought us all together to be part of the STB family.

Just wanted to clarify....
I was not actually thinking about going commander...In my opinion, that is something only the leaders should use. I believe I have neither played long enough with STB to warrant their unwavering obedience in the same way they follow quickgloves, nor do I think i would be the most efficient on the battlefield outside of ground armor. Trust in any leadership of mine is something I will have to build through actual invested time with STB, and i certainly do not expect the ranks to simply listen to me just because i put on a commander suit. I believe STB would want me in the role i am best at so i can fight effectively and share my beta knowledge with corp members when they need it.
I was curious as to quickgloves intentions since the leader does not always want to be in a retracted position on the battlefield. Sometimes they just need to be blowing **** up. I would say tho, that this is why STB is worthwhile. The leader isnt foolish and will perform in a way that best benefits his team.
Quickgloves, i am glad you see the big picture and are thinking along the same lines as i am. Im excited to be on the field with ya. +1
(If you think i should fulfill some different role, i will respectfully listen and obey, my liege...) |

hey bud, for my honest opinion....
I like where your coming form. I find the suppressive weapons like the mass driver and hmg fun. AR is boring and smg is just a needed backup for my forge gun main. Remember, this is based on the probably now obsolete numbers from the E3 build, so dont put all your eggs in one basket here....
Mass driver is best suppression weapon, but not great for head on fights. It will probably be used in logi fits as a support area denial type weapon. I see it only being good for clearing out an area saturated with enemies before teammates go in. The damage makes it so you probably wont get much kills, but a hell of a lot of assists.
The HMG is just a beast of a weapon made for simply mowing down the enemy. You have to watch your gun to make sure it doesnt overheat, but it basically utilizes the heavy suits strengths better than just about any other weapon you can use. This is also a weapon with a lot of potential as a suppressive tool, but has an added bonus of being able to get kills fast if used correctly. Downside is a lack of good AV applicability.
As i see it, if you must use one of the two, use mass drivers if your are wanting to play in a supportive role or the hmg f you want to be the bulwark of your team's offensive efforts on an objective. |

Yeah. SMG's are an amazing sidearm, especially when fully upgraded. Its perfect for close up fights, and allows you to cary a long range or heavy damage weapon as a primary. |

With a well aimed mass driver it's possible to ohk scout type 1 and lower and if not the second round gets the trick done. Not trying to op the hmg but shouldn't it be better than the ar on most terms except accuracy and reload speed? Not force me to max heavy weapon sharpshooter ( which costs more sp and isk) and still have to get closer to them for my shots to register |
