So you think you should have a say on a game you've spent nothing on? You think someone who has played the game for only 30 minutes but spent over $100 should have a say on anything? Tell me, what would happen if all the players that didn't spend any money on Dust were to just stop playing and leave? You will have a very small player pool left. Matchmaking and game queues get screwed, and the remaining paying players will become unhappy with the small player pool. They too will start dropping out and Dust is left with a player pool size which isn't enough to sustain CCP's finances. Tl;dr Time spent on a game also equates to loyalty and deserves the same respect.

You do realize that if we actually had to pay for this game- most of us would never have even picked it up considering the terrible IGN reviews and other reviews. Also- in my opinion- time spent on a game deserves more respect than money. I'm not rich nor are a lot of other players that play. If you pay, great you get arum and can buy stuff with secondary currency and buy respec (I'm not hatin) but when it comes to key things like trading- it should be available to everyone especially people that have played this game two three years.

The butthurt inside me is spreading... i can feel it Paying customer keep the lights on and development going for everyone. They are keeping the game the F2Pers enjoy going. That's loyalty. If this game was worth investing in I would. Anyway- the team that brings the more isk stands a better chance at winning. Also, trading (pay for loyalty 4) = more officer weapons to some people = win. this post reads like you didn't even read his post |

Also, trading (pay for loyalty 4) = more officer weapons to some people = win. You can earn loyalty rank 4 through play. Since the benefit can be earned without spending a time it is not pay to win. For it to be pay to win the feature would only be available for paying customers. That is not the case. It's just FASTER to pay. While that's true, its a matter of degree. It should be feasible for someone to unlock trading with a reasonable amount of effort and not paying. I'm not entirely sure how long it would take to unlock trading without paying, but if it's taking you know like....6 months to do, that's pretty ridiculous for a feature which is common to online games coming out of the gate. I understand the intention of the Loyalty Rank limitation, but I think we need to take a hard look at exactly how long it will take someone to reach that with reasonable play and no AUR spent.
lower it to 3 i've been playing for almost a year now and I play a lot, im barely rank 3 |

It takes like 24 years playing 8 hours a day and being a decent player to reach Rank 15.
At some point the "Pay to get sooner" Argument to avoid the "Pay to win" Argument becomes moot.
If it's pay money or wait 24 years... It's ******* pay to win. No matter how much fanboys want to sugar coat it.
Warbarge is no different.
CCP's underhanded business practices have completely turned me off from ever putting another dollar into this IP. |

If you think in very very small brain functions at a time and are unable to see the entire picture past a simple trading feature....
Then i would be a tool?
If you however understand that it takes 28 years to reach rank 15... It doesn't matter what freaking rank your talking about.... or WHAT magical feature CCP has decided to tie into it.
When it is taking you potentially 28 years to gain 15 ranks... How many to gain 4? How does the current system even make sense?
Oh yea, I forgot... you wanted to talk about an extremely small picture and don't want any side facts or information getting in the way of that narrowly small picture. |

JJ'S wrote:When it is taking you potentially 28 years to gain 15 ranks... How many to gain 4? How does the current system even make sense? LR XP needed grows exponentially. The requirement starts very small and increases more and more with each level. Getting from 2 -> 3 for example, will take muuuch less time than 6 -> 7. Comparing getting to rank 15 with the time it takes to get to rank 4 is asinine in a way I cannot describe with words.
Of course it's going to take longer.
If you want to improve this then help the community come up with ways to generate LR XP faster. I've got a thread open (that you have already shitposted in). Increasing the speed we gain LR XP through play will reduce that "28 years to rank 15" you keeping screaming about.
