The bonuses granted by loyalty rank focus on ISK and LP gains. ISK and LP can be attained by just playing the damn game.

Pay to win would be if loyalty rank granted you +10% armor HP, increased shield recharge rates, or something.

Paying customer keep the lights on and development going for everyone. They are keeping the game the F2Pers enjoy going. That's loyalty.

You can earn loyalty rank 4 through play. Since the benefit can be earned without spending a dime it is not pay to win.

For it to be pay to win the feature would only be available for paying customers. That is not the case. It's just FASTER to pay.

Tell me, what would happen if all the players that didn't spend any money on Dust were to just stop playing and leave? You will have a very small player pool left. Matchmaking and game queues get screwed, and the remaining paying players will become unhappy with the small player pool. They too will start dropping out and Dust is left with a player pool size which isn't enough to sustain CCP's finances.

Time spent on a game also equates to loyalty and deserves the same respect.

Fixed. F2Pers are valuable, but in the end if they don't spend some pocket change on Dust they aren't helping the game stay afloat.

I'm still extremely skeptical that OP is really loyalty rank 2 or 3 if has been playing his as long as he says he has. Maybe OP only plays a match per month.
