It is very op when you run a proto scr with 2-3 complex damage mods. Wb damage at 5% (25k wbc!?!?!) . And proficiency 5.
Btw it's shield based weaponry. It feels op cuz it kills your shield in 1 charge shot. Yea working as intended bud.
The SCR dose not factor in your strafing skills.

As long as 5/6 (83%) of infantry AV weapons are Anti Armor based you're never going to achieve vehicle balance CCP

It's armor damage profiles need to be changed or something else at least, I've been killed in mere moments by both the viziam and carthum with 600 armor and getting shot with 50-70+ damage per shot from a viziam and just a stream of continued damage of about 10-25 damage from a carthum

Ok its a shield weapon but how do you explain that you cant go head to head and beat the amarr using armor weapon against them, like ever. Even though you armor tank the living trash outta your suit. Also gallente never has a chance against them, still their weapon is only -10% to armor
Im not a bad player but if Im facing a competitive slayer on the other side using the amarr with a viziam, its ridiculous, but I have to deploy in my identical one.

the scram rifles main issues is
A: its high base damage means its -20% to armour still wont affect its ttk too much since it really isn't losing too much damage. ifn the profile was -30 or 35% THEN it would be noticble and struggle to melt armour. could be applied to the base variant......we all hate how stong that charged shot is even without damage mods. the assault variant really only needs its base damage nerfed down.
B: the turbo controller....................enough said
C: feed back damge of 25..............could be higher................it gets all this damage......short over heat time.. compare to the laser: 125 feedback....LONG cooldown even with lvl 5 operation. increase feedback to 75-90 damage to punish for over heat...and anoy turbo users. slightly increase overheat time. (prevent's....hinders...makes bad choice for cqc)
D: the charged shot damage......................this is way too high. should have higher heat cost. to make it more risk/reward for landing the hit. prevents single round spam from lasting too long.
E: clip size feels slightly too big, heat built per shot also feels to low compared to how many rounds/accumulated damage can be applied.
F: shield suits using the scram rifle...............really.....
I could go on but I feel these are its main issues.

I could go on but I feel these are its main issues. If I remember correctly, Rattati mentioned to decrease normal shot damage but keep or increase charge damage to reward accuracy. If I can find the thread again I will link it to you

Why the gun is so good at CQC is because of aim assist. I want you to try it on without aim assist, you will overheat before you even get to your enemy's health. Well in the case of CQC of course

The scrambler does not need a nerf. In terms of weapon and bonus it gets. In a caldero yes even the militia will take away most shields as it should. Try using the weapon on any suit other than the amarr assault and it is poop. Also the charge shot does most of the damage. The gun doesn't due well against amour tanked suits. I have been playing as an amarr for two years. Just because you all suck now doesn't mean weapon needs nerf. Change your combat style and adapt. You all just a bunch of whiny beotchess. Not that the gun isn't 'op', it certainly is marginally better than other guns in its class. However, that doesn't matter much in the end. Your play style is universally to blame for any deaths you incur, with the occasional exception of elevated lag. Use cover, fight in pairs, and take ownership of your weaknesses. please explain how the scrambler rifle is better than the tac AR? now watch when they nerf the scrambler and buff the tac AR the buckets of tears by caldari getting chopped in half by ARs. the retardation in this room is on LvL 10 right now.

Should they, and I am from a corporation that is only allowed to use Amarrian dropsuit technology and in practice always attempts to use Amarrian weapons where possible, I'll just pick up the AR, Shotgun, and Ion Pistol.
Kirk told me they sucked but I can't argue with two 20+ kill games with basic Gallente weapons.

It does get annoying when my sentinels get killed in 3 shots but I just want CCP to do what they want.

However, if someone gets 3 consecutive headshots they deserve the kill IMO.

Take a joke except the part where I could care less what CCP does at this point. I do admit though I does get annoying when I constantly die by SCR ..... but I mainly do Min. FW. So my fault for that.

History has shown us that if it shows up too often in the kill feed it's likely to be nerfed in the near future. I've died more to it recently than ever before. That is just my Minmatar perspective, but i do see them a lot in the feed these days.

Well ideally the Min Sent should have the best Laser Damage Resistance in the game. However in true fashion Caldari content has some of the lower laser resistances. That is simply how it is.

They certainly need to take a look at it but were you running shield based caldari fits? it is suppose to be effective against that
