Should they, and I am from a corporation that is only allowed to use Amarrian dropsuit technology and in practice always attempts to use Amarrian weapons where possible, I'll just pick up the AR, Shotgun, and Ion Pistol.
Kirk told me they sucked but I can't argue with two 20+ kill games with basic Gallente weapons.

You can't kill Sentinel's in 3 shots.
Even using Charged shots, assuming my Math is wrong, you will deal 377 damage per shot inclusive of the weapons damage profile.
That's 116 Damage per shot modified by the 3.25 Modifier.
That knocks out about half of the base shield HP of a sentinel of and unfit Cal Sent with Dropsuit Upgrades V and sets you back the equivalent of 10 Shots.
If I start using standard fire mode I exceed the 3 shot limit. If I continued to use charged shots a common Cal Sent fit begins to regenerate 50 HP per second within 1 second of taking damage and 4 (lessened to 2.46 on a fit I would use) once depleted.
Again if my math is right it should take 4 consecutive charged shots to kill my Cal Sent and many more when using standard fire. Which would take a significant time investment and stupidity on the Sentinel's part.

I do admit though I does get annoying when I constantly die by SCR ..... but I mainly do Min. FW. So my fault for that.
Well ideally the Min Sent should have the best Laser Damage Resistance in the game. However in true fashion Caldari content has some of the lower laser resistances. That is simply how it is.

So did I but a Blaster Installation had already just about popped it armour, put half an ASCR burst into it and poof, still this is something any rifle can achieve.
