This was meant to be a serious thread but I guess everyone is hating on scouts when i don't even have 200 shield on mine. I mostly run EWAR mods, so I can virtually be insta-killed. But right now I'm using a lot the rushing fit even when I want to kill just because I have fun with it (parkouring is awesome) so it's the one I'll tell you : Mk.0 scout two complex kincats one basic cardiac regulator one complex shield extender 2 complex myofibs K5 specialist shotgun STD Bolt pistol STD flux grenades Proto flux uplinks STD cloak (mostly useless, it's there to climb a ladder or cross a wide open area) Maybe one of the STD things is ADV I'm not sure, but the limit is the PG

Complex regular plate on a scout. Thats negating the kin kat you should use ferroscale.

Interesting Thnx for your help. I think I will stay specced into my proto min scout and also spec into proto gal scout. It seems as if the cal scouts bonus isn't really that useful anymore. Oh and btw, just went 31 and 2 with my ishukones and adv minja MInjas are the best.

Pretty good in my opinion. You made good points, while I would still rather fit shield extenders I will try and make a fit with the precision mod. Honestly, I feel that caldari and min scouts both have pretty bad ewar now. I normally just tank those fits with shields and then dampeners.

The Minja has very good stamina and regen, so it doesn't need a Cardiac. Going without Damps is an absolute no-no. Rifle > Flaylock. I use a different fit for Links. If I'm scanned, I'm scanned, but I won't be easy to catch. I've knifed a ton of people hacking a point right after I killed a person 30 meters away from said point. Sure, gallente is the inherent scout king with all those lows & min's have a great bonuses, but they are seriously played out in my opinion. Real men run shields & know no OP weapons, since most every thing can kill you at the drop of a hat. Makes going 15-0 that much more rewarding. Also, it's easily the sexiest suit in the game. Gal's look like moto gp racers & min's...well...you remember the gimp from pulp fiction...that dude on meth. Although, for disclosure, i don't run proto unless someone else is footing the bill (so...never). Kinda pulled this out of the prison purse. Scout C-1 works just fine TLDR: Preference.
