At the start of matches though I use a fit with 2 Kincats and Links. I also have another fit with 2 Damps. If I'm still being scanned after that, then I'm better off in an Assault, because 3 Damps gimps the suit too much. Naturally, I also have a speedhack fit, as should every self-respecting Minja. Smile

Precision mods, range mods, cardiac mods, armour plates, myofibs, damage mods, armour reps, and shield rechargers, regulators and energisers do not work well on the Minja, or there are more effective mods that you can fit.

This was meant to be a serious thread but I guess everyone is hating on scouts when i don't even have 200 shield on mine. I mostly run EWAR mods, so I can virtually be insta-killed. I make new suits practically every day and am always on protofits. Sorry for wanting to get a variety of fits from other people.

Complex regular plate on a scout. Thats negating the kin kat you should use ferroscale.

Interesting Thnx for your help. I think I will stay specced into my proto min scout and also spec into proto gal scout. It seems as if the cal scouts bonus isn't really that useful anymore. Oh and btw, just went 31 and 2 with my ishukones and adv minja MInjas are the best.

Shield extenders are generally better, however there are two good reasons to fit a precision enhancer. 1. No pg cost. Min scouts are limited by pg, so if you are having trouble with a fitting, losing a shield extender for precision is quite a nice option. 2. Whilst min scouts have the worst ewar of the scouts, it is still important for them. Passive scanning may not be anywhere near what it was, but it's still useful. A single precision mod will effectively double the range at which you will scan an undamped assault, which is what the vast majority run in pubs, by making your outer scan ring precise enough. Pretty good in my opinion.
