She was a girl afraid to start anything she couldn't finish. Afraid of leaving things unresolved, but she decided she was being silly. Nothing to fear. Who knows, it may be a waste of time, but she wasn't going to waste that promotion code that she got with her PS3 either. She went to the market and looked at all of the weapons, disregarding the stats and using the glorious gold currency known as aurum on some farsight sniper rifles. Faith renewed, she walked up to the battle finder and finally clicked X. No going back... As her clone transported into the MCC warbarge she saw many other mercenaries giving her a once over. She felt the strange urge to punch something but there was no button for that. She looked at the timer... 32 seconds left of dodging unwanted warbarge ****. Finally, she entered the MCC and deployed onto district V. Dropping out of the MCC, she felt the wind hit her skin through her Dropsuit. She had almost forgot she even existed beneath the hard layers of leather and hard metal she was encased in. She could see how easy it would be to forget she was a person. Descending More rapidly than she anticipated, she grew dangerously bold with every meter she gained and waited until she was almost touching the ground to activate her inertia dampener. She now knew what she came here for... To start a revolution. Natalie Herondale would be a force to be reckoned with... A rebel. Delete Delete Delete Delete Delete Delete

A month of continuous sexual harassment in the warbarge before every match. It turned out farsight sniper rifles weren't going to cut it. Every time Natalie went to take a shot her gun kicked back ridiculously. This was DUST 514? Not what she was expecting. Natalie saw the bar for her local chat flashing. Raising her eyebrow, she wondered if anyone on this game was for real. She studiously ignored it after laughing to herself over the random banter and then looked at her charts. With a heavy sigh, she went through the weapons. What could be fun? She read the descriptions and nothing else. This is a video game. Her philosophy was that if she wanted to read she would just go to the library again and pick out some more books. No. Enough of that. She was here to play. Hmmm... Shotguns? Without any further hesitation she deployed info a match after fitting her suit. If shotgunning is the same as in every other game this should be a close range, stealth, one-shot type of combat. She reasoned if she could only improve her situational awareness and her aim that would be a good start... This game was far more difficult than she imagined but that's what she liked about it. Apparently she was playing against real players. Not robots. Meaning there was some actual thought behind her opponent's actions in the game. That was new and exciting. A skill tree? Where was everyone? Not nearly so many people talked in the chat. She didn't understand. The game finished loading and she went into the next screen and was amazed at what she saw. Holy crap! There must have been some reward or something. She had 1 million skill points to spend! This wasn't there last night... She didn't queston her gift and went on to happily spend it.. She refused to make any mistakes this time. Natalie decided that placing level 1 in everything was the best idea... How could she go wrong? Level 1 plasma cannons... She never felt more overpowered. She was sure she would soon be rising above the other more experienced players with her out-of-this-world intuition.
