You admit you don't know how it feels using mouse and keyboard compared to a controller, so how can you possibly have anything valuable to say on the matter? Try it out for a week, then comment.

M&kb will always be better than controller.
You react faster, your aim is more precise, etc.

I've played Dust using m&kb. I felt like if i was playing a PC fps game. Much, much easier.

I'm using DS3 cuz i+Ñs a console game. They're meant to be played using controllers, not m&kb.

Its based of what I was told. But its been a issue before I made this thread like I said I just want to play people with controlers not against mouse n Keyboard users. Keep the game simple.

No, it does not damage the controller in the least. My 2 pads is are over 4+ years old each.
What the hell do you do to your controller to ruin them? Smash them on the ground?

There is nothing in this game that warrants abuse of the controller itself, you must just have bad fine motor control, and high twitch control.

I know these guys are picking on you about this KBM vs Controller issue. I will submit this to you. Unless you are in a tournament environment were all conditions a equal against one another DS3 controller PS3 and connection are all equalized you will never find a fair fight.


People do whatever it takes to win. Because some people care so much about how good they appear to be in game. I'm not going to say that's said or downplay the tryhard. But this is personally to you from me and my experiences. Do the best you can with what you have. CCP doesn't care. The player who has spent hundreds of extra dollars mods on his ps3 and controller or kb/m doesn't care.

I have accepted the vast difference between my achievable skill level and those who have gone above and beyond to be unstoppable at this game. That's fine you paid for it. You stressed over it and you have a dedication I don't. Good for you. There are many whom will beat me 9 out of 10 times because I don't care to drop that much extra money to be number one in a game that has at best a lofty and uncertain future. All good things come to an end. I think this game won't be moving onto any platform that most of the players want to be on.

I will never buy a PC to play Legion because it turns into who's PC is better? who has better aimbots macro's and micro. I don't want to play a game that I am certainly going to win that involves none of my own reflexes. This makes me a scrub. Someone who plays by rules that are not determined by the game or limitations.

I am more proud to be a scrub than an elitist. Being an elitist is the most disappointing and unrewarding way to play a game or live life in general.

However, die hard gamers that use expensive gaming m/kb with high DPI scanning, programmable buttons and often macro support, can make their m/kb setup much better than the native support. This is when using a m/kb is superior to a controller.

These setups allow for super strafing, sprint staffing, and increased precision with aiming.

If you ever wonder why that dude that you are shooting at is strafing left and right like a madman and can still hit with every single shot and you get stomped horribly and don't have any chance IT'S BECAUSE THEY USE MOUSE AND KEYBOARD!!1 All the vets do it! Why do you think they have KDR of 6+? It's because they use mouse and keyboard and can aim perfectly all the time while with controller they would struggle hitting even the broad side of a barn! Dust should remove DS3 from the game so everyone has to use mouse and keyboard and the game would be fair again! ******* MOUSE AND KEYBOARD CHEATING STOMPERS FFS!!1

The people who can't miss are 100% using controllers. As has been stated in this game kb/m cannot hit the side of a barn. Actually, they can, the game just doesn't register the hits.

If this is true why have dust on the PS3 if its ment to be played like eve on a computer? It does not make any sense to play the game if your consistently handycapped.

FACT: Every time I die it is because the TRYHARD on the other team is CHEATING with a $300 MOUSE AND KEYBOARD. Strafing? ADAD spam 100% of the time! Guy killed me in CQC? Its because his MOUSE let him POINT AND CLICK on my head which takes ZERO EFFORT, ZERO PRACTICE, ZERO REFLEXES, ZERO TALENT

I actually just decided to test out m/kb on Dust and found it to be absolutely horrible.

Union please just use kb/m setup aand:

grab a shotgun,
fly a dropship,
change your weapon/eq,
try to use a turret,
try to hit with melee,
try to kill that guy that just ran behind cover and somehow you magically kill him while he was behind a wall,

then please come back and let us know how it went
