Idk how it feels using M&K vs a ps3 controller but I feel like just so people dont feel cheated for whatever reason we should all be playing dust using a controller because dust is on a ps3 console. If dust was ment for a computer like EVE then why put it on a console that uses different controller system.
People say inorder to play Planetary Conquest with big corps like CAPITAL ACQUISITION you need to have a mouse and keyboard. To me thats not fair if it is true. I dont want to learn new settings just to play a game to have an equal chance at beating big corps, its just stupid and its another reason Dust sucks.
Im sure im not the only one. I probably wont be on much longer cuz iv played this game for a long time and it has not gone anywhere but full circle. Seems like history is repeating itself on this game.
You admit you don't know how it feels using mouse and keyboard compared to a controller, so how can you possibly have anything valuable to say on the matter? Try it out for a week, then comment. |

I've played Dust using m&kb. I felt like if i was playing a PC fps game. Much, much easier.
I'm using DS3 cuz i+Ñs a console game. They're meant to be played using controllers, not m&kb.
Aim would be more precise if hit detection was better. As it is, you can point at a heavy's head with an assault rifle and do 0 damage with a mouse, while they rip through you in seconds as you strafe as fast as you can. Some weapons are better with kbm, but ds3 is superior overall. |

Yeah, but not every mouse is a gaming mouse. I bought my mouse and keyboard for -ú14.99 and they work just fine. You don't need anything fancy unless you want to match what a ds3 user can do. I logi, forge gun and snipe mostly. Sometimes I use a hmg and am trying out mass driver and plasma cannon.
I don't need a special, all-singing, all dancing sparkly mouse with 'I <3 CCP' bejazzled on it! Nobody does. |
