So. Thats pretty much it. Logis are WAY too slow (except the Minnie) and have LESS EHP than assaults.
I do understand the fact they have the Bandwith advantage and Equipment slots , but you even have EHP or have Speed or Damp (low scan profile), and logis have none.
In order to be a good support unit, you need to stick BY your squad.
So i propose that Logis just have -0.05 speed PER EQUIPMENT SLOT compared to their Assault Counter parts.
So Amarr And CAl would ahve -0.15 speed compared to their ASsault counter parts. The Min And Gal -0.20.
Discuss.
Amarr FW blue dots suck. If you suck :please go and bother Minmatar or Gallente. You'll even win some matches there.

No no no, i meant if speed buff for logi, buff every logi. Logi are little slow, i know someone can put contra like "they have gadgets with them". But honestly logi should be faster (even just little), there i agree with you ;j

I would logi if I didn't sink into minheavy. (that I never use besides to forge)
That said, an increase in speed isn't bad persay but you'd do well to not give the logi too many buffs less la bumbling slayers return.
EDIT: And as True said, fit biotech, not every class needs to be good at everything. That's the assaults' job.

Kin cats are essential, but it is honestly that necessary to be slower than assault class and faster than heavy?! Thats the question. If there will be slight buff it will be nice. If there will be no buff its fine either ;j

Logis have the LEAST Stamina and stamina regen. Sprint Speed is not necessarily the ONLY speed they need.
Move and Strafe to avoid SOME bullets while repping, reviving,etc...

Two things I would like to have for my logi.
First, faster walking speed, or a reptool, that works while sprinting. It's rediculous how often people who we rep, just are faster and break the rep beam. This would also reduce the threat from scouts a smidge, since you might be able to evade some of those backstabs...
Faster Sprint speed. This is essentially important because we are the ones who run around the whole map and back and forth to the depots, to support everybody. Slowness makes this not fun. Sacrificing a low slot for that is not an option, since we need these to get ehp reps or ewar in those slots.
I would also really like to get better jump height, since a lot of places are inacsessable if you cant jump high enough.
Dedicated Minmando Masshole with love for Swarmholing... Not playing logi that much anymore... which is a shame...

I dont mean JUST SPRNT speed. They need, more than sprint speed, more Strafe and Movement speed.
Another thing. A speed buff wouldnt make Logis OP, nor SLAYER logis.
Consider: Assaults ALREADY have a LOT more EHP. They are ALREADY faster , and have better shield regen and armor regen values. WHILE, Having the same (n most cases) amount of slots.
Discuss. The minmatar logi, i believe, is the only valid general logistics suit because it is the only one fast enough to consistently keep up. I wish they would buff the sprint speed, but buffing the jog (walk) speed would also be interesting.

perhaps not more speed but a lot more stamina for them to run longer. for me i tend to get caught out when my stamina puffs out and not so much as a result of lower overall speed.
then again i'm in the mini apex suit currently and i am benefiting from both the speed and stamina and it certainly makes a difference. but i was tanked previously so its hard to tell which is overall more beneficial to increase

For this reason i will be really glad if devs implement something like blinking icon with "no ammo" sign over head. Like what we have if someone want take up with needle.

With respecs and the hella buffed scouts and assault suits. I can't imagine we'll ever see the return of the slayer logi. It would take some seriously massive buffs to make the slayer logi viable again.
With that in mind... pretty much anything to make logi worth running is a plus in my book. Of course there are so many purests who think Logi's shouldn't ever get a kill that you'll make some no headway on that front.
It would be better imo to split the logi class and create two more well defined roles.
One suit with repair, injector, and scanning bonuses for pure logistics. Give them high EHP, assault-level speed, and low combat potential (either an L with damage penalty or possibly an S/S weapon layout)
One suit with more deployable-focused bonuses and L/S/3E layout. They would be lower speed like the current logi is and be more focused on creating and defending support points. Give them an uplink, nanohive, and injector bonus.
I would call one of them a medic suit and the other a logistics suit, or something like that.
Essentially give every race a min logi and an amarr logi. Yes the bonuses wouldn't be so distinct like they are for other races but that shouldn't hold back better role definition. Plus I think racial suits should be more focused on tanking style and less focused on specific role types.
But hey... my opinion is rarely popular on these forums so v0v. |

The logistics suit should be a light suit with 2 eq slots and vehicle transport bonuses. The medic should be what the current logi is.

Discuss. Actually the Min logistics specifically says its exoskeleton makes carrying any amount of equipment effortless.
So,speed reductions based on equipment is a no-go (for Min at least). This should be reason enough for Min logistics to be equal with basics in speed,yet they are slower for some odd reason.
