I do understand the fact they have the Bandwith advantage and Equipment slots , but you even have EHP or have Speed or Damp (low scan profile), and logis have none.
In order to be a good support unit, you need to stick BY your squad.
So i propose that Logis just have -0.05 speed PER EQUIPMENT SLOT compared to their Assault Counter parts.
So Amarr And CAl would have -0.15 speed compared to their Assault counter parts. The Min And Gal -0.20.
I dont mean JUST SPRNT speed. They need, more than sprint speed, more Strafe and Movement speed.
Another thing. A speed buff wouldnt make Logis OP, nor SLAYER logis.
Consider: Assaults ALREADY have a LOT more EHP. They are ALREADY faster , and have better shield regen and armor regen values. WHILE, Having the same (n most cases) amount of slots.
Discuss. Actually the Min logistics specifically says its exoskeleton makes carrying any amount of equipment effortless.
So,speed reductions based on equipment is a no-go (for Min at least). This should be reason enough for Min logistics to be equal with basics in speed,yet they are slower for some odd reason.

With that in mind... pretty much anything to make logi worth running is a plus in my book. Of course there are so many purests who think Logi's shouldn't ever get a kill that you'll make some no headway on that front.
It would be better imo to split the logi class and create two more well defined roles.
One suit with repair, injector, and scanning bonuses for pure logistics. Give them high EHP, assault-level speed, and low combat potential (either an L with damage penalty or possibly an S/S weapon layout)
One suit with more deployable-focused bonuses and L/S/3E layout. They would be lower speed like the current logi is and be more focused on creating and defending support points. Give them an uplink, nanohive, and injector bonus.
I would call one of them a medic suit and the other a logistics suit, or something like that.
Essentially give every race a min logi and an amarr logi. Yes the bonuses wouldn't be so distinct like they are for other races but that shouldn't hold back better role definition. Plus I think racial suits should be more focused on tanking style and less focused on specific role types.
But hey... my opinion is rarely popular on these forums so v0v. +1 This sounds pretty good. Then again...i might just be saying that because i'm good with sidearms.

I already have some calculations and ideas without a true encumbrance model, I can share that Something tells me the rules will be broken when it comes to logistics and assaults.
Currently: -logis have almost scout level eHP -logis have almost commando level speed
And as speed to eHP ratio shows,this is broken.
-assaults have 160 more eHP than logistics -assaults have higher speed compared to the lower eHP logistics
This too is broken.
But it is considered "ok" by CCP,and COD/BF4 players.
My bet says logistics will still be badly gimped,and speed changes to eHP mods will doom the class. While assaults will have almost 0 penalty and flourish.
