A recall requires you to go in. You get notified of the change and can choose to opt out.

Pre-fitted with basic modules. In the description it states that it's meant for "new players". Idk how a "vet" can be so slow. My dragonfly is in all ways superior to a Pre-fitted noob suit |

I think you've jumped off topic however to respond to your opinion on fittings that is why I have one or more drop uplinks on each one of the vast majority of my fittings which are logi. As a scout I have no need for them. Let me guess you feel that every heavy suit out there should be forced to carry one in their fitting as well? |

Hey CCP, can you please leave these suits editable, and just lower the CPU/PG to standard frame level of the same race/class?
This would solve several issues.
First, everybody could put whatever basic modules in there that he likes. It might be possible to put even more in the suit, but it would not be unbalanced, since you pay for the extra oomph with isk. And they would still be comparably weak.
Second, as I gathered, if you fix the modules, the suit is not renamable, and on every logon, dust forgets if it's been the favourite. This is highly annoying, if you sort your suits with the help of their names.
Please consider!

Still missing the point Iron Wolf. You don't pay for the SP cap, you pay for the boosters. If I purchase an Apex suit and CCP decides to adjust the functional level of all modules of which one or more may affect the suit like every other suit so be it. That is fair, it would be an adjustment liking buffing the RR or nerfing swarms. What happened was they changed the module/weapon load out which was one of the reasons I and others purchased the suit. CCP changed the product after the purchase. |

Its more of the reality of how to this this much more very real issue for certain players as its doing all sorts of weird things.
Apex suit changes are to keep them relative and useful instead of forgotten and unlike planetside 2 we are not nerfing the 9$ gun for being the most popular seller so that some other gun can have a chance to shine at being bought.
Apex suits are being met with a range of critisms on being useful; or too powerful or not powerful enough for a standard fit even. Its a hard balance to strike off the bat with everything else changing dust 514 constantly.

That's effectively what you're arguing about. It isn't changing your thirty days to three days. Its changing the manner in which the thirty days work.
Changing your thirty day active boosters to thirty day passive boosters.

Now your making excuses. I purchased it because it would be useful. If the alterations are made they deviate from their usefulness to myself the buyer.
The argument of these suits as being OP is both hilarious and weak in any form because even a regular basic suit can have higher tier modules/weapons and provide flexibility to the user. A true proto suit provides flexibility, HP, and weapons capabilities that these suits cannot provide. The suits themselves prove useful based on the players play style which would determine what they work towards or buy making the suits relevant.
As far as this being the reality if CCP did the honorable thing either refunding my money or leaving these suits the way they were when a player purchases it I wouldn't complain. If I earned it by grinding on factional I would be disappointed but I would let it go. Instead as an individual that gave this company currency representative of my time and efforts to use in this game they essentially took that product and it's usefulness from me. They've had the ticket I submitted asking for a refund for over a week asking only for a refund in money representative of the Aurum used to purchase the suit and I haven't heard a response. Great customer service. I certainly won't be purchasing anything from this company again. |
