when you buy a mustang does the dealership come to your house and exchange it with a taurus? I want my 100k LP and 10mil isk back or have a better skilled scout design it. why doesn't anyone consult good players before they build things. A few hours playing with my corp squad and we can teach devs everything that needs changed and how far to go when adjusting fits and weapons. I think the only players that should be listened to are those with 60milion sp like me or at least 50million, there are enough of us. When are the true dust fanatics going to get a say? You actually have to play the game with us so we can give you play by play advice, I've been saying this for years. |

The APEX fittings are purposefully sub-par. They are designed that way so a player willing to spend ISK on his own fitting will have an advantage over someone who straight up buys his BPO-proto fitting.
Working as intended.

Working as intended. ideally they need to be 1/2 the cost.. cause no newbro will buy the apex suits for aur and wont get a chance to get the LP/isk for the LP store one..

Yep. I keep saying this, but whatever. Forget the newbro, they are vanity items for vets who like a large wardrobe. Since it only takes time (instead of RL money) to obtain the LP variants I am a fan. But if they are designed with newbros in mind..... that's another CCP fail I'm afraid!

and hell i would pay 5m and 50k LP just for a goddamned Standard sever suit for myself that i can fit myself to minmax the hell out of it!.. and the same for my alts (race/suit dependent, ie raven-> caldari, valor-> galente.)
this brings more people to FW and is a double isk sink cause players are not earning isk but also spending isk... they are also bringing more corpses.. err players to Factionwar to get it going too!

spend a week grinding or $30 on a sub par suit??? just cause it looks good doesn't mean it can't work good. I like the basic modules, there you go, not a pay to win proto; buuuuuttt it still should work well for what it is. the first fit was the best. |

true but CCP does not have the ability yet to limit editing on some suit. that is why they can not do a match making with limits like basic/militia gear only battles, adv gear or less battles, and all gear battles. yes that means tanks mods too and the ads would be proto battles only.
besides if your new top dust you would buy the APEX while vets see its and most will grind for LP suits. I have seem the new tiger scout already and saw the LP gal scout the first day they were out. so the suits work as they are mean to. help new players by have a proto bpo suit while not give they an huge advantage and vets have a bpo proto suit with the bonuses (sp skills) helping the suit even more. it is a fair and balanced suits. if you don't like them and wanted a refund try putting in a ticket to see if ccp can do it. |

I haven't bought gal scout, the fitting it had was perfect for me, now it's completely another thing, i don't care about ion pistol or smg, i'm talking about modules and equipments. They can restrict each slot to a certain meta level and problem is solved. |

SOMEONE FOUND THE CHANGES
You also have to keep in mind CCP said very early on that the suits where subject to change. There was an entire feedback thread for them.
Now, the changes butchering of the glorious Quafe suits. That was uncalled for and they're are now completely different from what they were initially sold as. Maybe I should submit a ticket for a refund. CCP doesn't seem to eager to change them back.
i miss how FABULOUS they were.. soo shiney and destracting that they managed to take gun sights off me as a logi in my slow squishy yellow suit

Ok, so here's the thing - I made a purchase because I was satisfied with the product offered. Somebody else thinks they'd like a different variation on the theme and negotiates a different deal. Good for them, but why am I now forced to keep their deal? Changes made post-purchase are underhanded tactics that should be avoided in all cases to maintain trust with the community. I understand that the game belongs to CCP and they can do whatever they like with it, the issue here is trust.
Here's hoping they at least allow a trade into a different suit... |

I am looking at the spreadsheet, and I don't see any drastic changes. A few tweaks based on community feedback. I am stoked for the Min Commando changes, but now that the Shaman Logi has been made a tad less squishy, I'm torn. I told myself I would only get one, but now I want the Commando and the Logi. Ah well, back to grinding LP!

Moved HP from shield to armor at the sacrifice of profile and a basic 3% light DMG mod Changed SMG to Ion Pistol (I hate that gun) Changed RE to Uplink Combined with coming EWAR and EQ changes, this is a deal breaker for me.
I'm usually not in a light/Scout suit. I've run Amarr scout on occasion but that's it. I looked over the spreadsheet (until it was hidden), debated over the variants, and decided on which one I'd like to pursue. The gal seemed decent. I got it right away, probably should have waited because it wasn't until after my purchase that I saw the feedback thread was started. Given its current state I'm sure it works for someone, just not at all what I would have bought. |
