light grey (or beige) with orange highlights/parts (the Vherokior ship as inspiration)
maroon with white highlights/parts (Krusual ship as inspiration)
brown with orange highlights/parts (example, image 2 and 4)
dark brown with light green highights/parts (example)
*For Minmatar suits, add symbols similar to Minmatar tattoos (example1) (example2) in the secondary color on the suit.
Amarr:
silver with red highlights/parts (like the Imperial A-1 commando)
gold with red highlights/parts (like the Templar sentinel)
red with black under (inspiration), imagine Amarr assault with this.
Black with navy blue + silver highlights/parts (ispiration)
*For Amarr suits, please no more camo print

God and Empress bless the Tash-Murkons...got 10.0 Standing on my Eve Char with the Tash-Murkon Family, it's where my capsuleer got their start...so many missions done whilst doing homework
Khanid Logi and Tanker, sometimes AV Heavy or Sniper.
I believe all these roles are support for front line soldiers.

Frankly I would like to see more logical patterns. Things that actually look military (camo patterns, desaturated colors etc.) rather than more shimmering rainbow colored BS suits that young teens would squeel over.
I don't care if we get more rainbow colors, but I want options that a mature & self-respecting adult wouldn't facepalm over.

Also, I'm not against camo print on Amarr suits, I just wish we had camo print that actually looked good on them, because so far they all look terrible.
You need to use subdued colors or racial appropriate colors on Amarr. With exception.
We need less of this arctic camo and teal digital crap.
So far the Templars are the best non-Quafes we have, and they looks passable at best.
More grays, creams, tans, maroons, silvers, golds, blacks and dark blue.
Leave the brighter colors for the Gallente. Tramps, all of 'em!
And stop it with the "gold" that are on some of the Amarr suits!
That is not gold. That looks like plastic and you should be ashamed.

Maybe different patterns for every race?
Caldari, stealth camo/tech/disruptive camo
Minmatar, Animal/Tribal/tiger
Gallente, Organic/sperical/leaves
Amarr, Gold ornamental or plain gold
Or maybe customisable shaders so corps could issue team colors.
Purists could make paintjobs that reference Eve ships/groups
But a squad of Copper and Jade toting would be a nice sight too.
all this if you are not too busy designing a heavy weapon offcourse.

If CCP is going to insist on forcing us to vote for one of three options then at least let it be a "which one first?" vote rather than a "you only get to choose one".
I'm quite annoyed and frustrated that majority voted on an ugly rust red color suit and I (still) have no options I like.
Really CCP is the only one that loses out, considering I have yet to spend any real money and am consistently given arbitrary options that I neither like, nor wanted.
They're cosmetics. I understand time and budget constraints for content that has not been developed, but showing finished textures and not giving them to us because of an asinine vote is infuriating and should NOT be a thing.

A cool bro named T'Amber/Cerbus made a web based ship browser that lets you see any official (and some unofficial) color pallet on any ship in 3D. I'm sure he could also get you the specific color values for a faction/corporation's skin. (I have to wonder, though, why not just ask the Eve Art Team internally?)

So to start some discussion i would like to suggest the following :-
