So yes, I think it very significant. Give the Magsex some love.

When active scanners were first released they were team-wide. If I can recall, a patch or two later CCP decided to limit them to squad only. This was due to scanderina who would scan and spin all around to see the entire map. Now that the scanderina issue has been handled I think CCP wants them to be team-wide again. They may need some balancing though. I wish there were two types of scanners: team-wide scanners with long cooldowns (60+ seconds) and squad-wide scanners with the normal cooldowns. You're only getting scanned if the scanner is pointed at you and honestly you don't even need proto damps to evade most scans. Scanners have a narrow angle that they scan at. If you do your job as a scout and flank properly then you won't need to worry about being tagged for 5 seconds. For you to be tagged by an active scanner means you stood in front of the scanner. If you -do- get tagged, you're only tagged for 5 seconds or so. After that there's a recharge time for the scanner to deal with and then they have to find you again to tag you. If they're running a 4 scanner Gallogi then they've specialised so heavily in scanning that I really do have zero sympathy for any complaints that you should be able to evade them with no effort. You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

RUN AWAY and time out the duration you'd be visible for and then RUN BACK from a different direction. Your visibility time is much much shorter than the scanners' cooldown time. You could always take a break and let your passive SP do its thing. Play some Ambushes in starter fits. I played this afternoon in my Quaffe suit undampened and didn't have many problems today. You kind of need to learn how to get through these periods, because they are going to happen. And if that means taking a break from the game as a whole, there is no harm in that. 1.9 Where cloaked scouts give way to tanked scouts. Problem solved?

Unless you load on the damps, they see you coming now. All 16 of them. W. T. F. My BPO SEVR Logi suit occasionally dips under scans with only my LVL 5 EWAR Skills, you can get your scout there too. If I'm in my Proto Gal logi with proto scans, your chances are slim but still possible. If you want to be sneaky now, you need to be sneaky ONLY, you cant tank and be sneaky anymore.

Yet some of the scouts in barber shop persisted and came forth; We even had a ninja event back then. I ended that event with 74 stabbings and understanding the problem scouts face from moment to moment at the time to get them buffed up in a way (did none of the numbers just laid out the problems) got me into the barber shop as an honorary. Dampening modules? have you tried using them? they help out a lot but they should get a buff in effectiveness I think. EDIT: oh you you did say you tried using them xD sorry LOL I like how some people act all serious, like they matter.

Perhaps you just have to change something in your fitting to adapt to this new situation, for example after 1.9 i started to play as a scout again and now i'm running boosters to scan radius and precision, 2 reactive armour plates,1 shield extender,CR, Breach SP,links and RE.try it out works great to me.
