These are just theoretical ideas that may or may not be possible, but if they are, then I for one want them included in Echo. If you have an idea of your own that isn't mentioned, post it below.
Please try to keep the political weapon and scout nerfing at a minimum, and lets produce a helpful and informative thread reflective of the general community's ideas!
List of Ideas
-Normalize OB WP requirements to somewhere between too high (5000) and too low (2500). 3750 seems to be the ideal number.
-Add "Smart Loot" {will attach link} salvages to improve the usefulness of salvages and reduce inventory clutter.
-For FW: a. Fill the remaining suits and weapons that are missing in the store, such as caldari scout. b. Add specialist weapons for each weapon that exists to the LP store. These weapons have ADV PG/CPU requirements, but PRO stats. c. (optional) Add specialist drop suits which would cost large amounts of ISK and LP, but have 20% increased CPU/PG
-Add weapon variants to all tiers (excluding MLT). ex. A basic assault SMG, and a prototype burst Scrambler pistol
-FIX THE SPRINT BUG
-Reduce the size of the redline.
-Move Codebreakers to high slots, and add RoF modules to the low slots (not possible w/out client side update)
-Return the old variations for tank modules (albeit only if they are balanced)
-Make the breach MD do full vehicle damage so that it serves as the Minmitar AV weapon
-Make the Laser Rifle to increased (60%) vehicle damage so that it serves as the Amarr AV weapon
-Fix PC (This is an area open to suggestions. All good ideas will be added)
-If possible, allow us to create a Pseudo-Market of sorts, where we can sell items we salvage for ISK

So many great ideas there with positive feedback from developers.... With absolutely nothing done.
That forum section has largely lost it's legitimacy and trust of the average user.
For CCP's sake.... And the entire booster concept you guys built for FW..... Make FW relevant so that people will actually Que up for it.... So people actually WANT the end game items you can only get from FW.
Motivating people to buy Loyalty point boosters... The entire FW concept got half way there and looks like it just got pushed out of the door... Did Team True Grit finish it? or just do the basics and left the raw numbers to CCP Shanghai?
It really needs to have the entire FW concept gone over with data, spreadsheets and community discussions....
FW is a diamond in the rough and offers the average Pubbie, Some DUST progression with Standings to the races they enjoy. While adding some friendly competition and banter between the races. |

Dust truncates values. Also, your sheet only covers the dampening and active scanners, not passive scanners, or interplay between them.

I still will never know why we didn't get a simple "Trade" Feature with 1.8....
It literally makes an entire new game within a game and a player market and price that would establish... People buying and trading..
ISk leaving billionaires hands and actually getting spent by the lower level mercenary selling their un used officer weapons...
PLayer market would of been ideal.... Because CCP Reykjavik are literally the masters of player markets in the entirety of gaming.... Then you get DUST, and it is....
The immediate disappointment with the lack of player trade in an extremely social game is such a let down it's hard to put in words. |

Yah This character doesn't spend much time in pubs... and when I do? it's extremely boring and usually results in me leaving to find something harder to do... Or go play another game.
last time I would call this character a "Pubbie" was Chromosome.... Since then it's mainly PC, and the odd tournament. or requires excessive amounts of alcohol to even make it tolerable.
Pubs in DUST don't feel to much different from Grinding PVE in Destiny.... the same behaviors repeated... The same series of actions to remove a threat... and usually no direct danger to myself.
Where the Average pubbie.... has only played pubs.. for months and months non stop. As in, that's the only part of the game they have played and have ever played and base their opinions and experiences on that. |

I disagree with lowering WP requirements for OB. It's not that hard for 5 mercs to get 1000WP. But there is one change that would impact this without lowering the required WP for OBs
: WP for team defence. 15-25 WP per action. - Killing mercs attacking/defending objectives - Killing an enemy while after they dealt (50%)? dmg to a friendly
These would be good, particularly the Point Defense/Assault WP and make OBs more obtainable

I do agree with it though. Posts like these are pretty shallow and touch on a lot of different things. It would be better to disect a specific topic to death in one thread than fill a thread with fluff. It's good for brain storming, though.
I might also add, it would be a huge encouragement to see a Dev tag once in a while, at least to show you're looking at a thread/issue/etc.

-reintroduce old vehicles so they can be tested and balanced.

-tweek CR so its not a pile of fecal matter (currently in delta it sucks)

Some of these might not even be possible, are completely impractical, or what should be way down in the priority list.
What we REALLY need is to re-purpose scout suits for actual scouting and strip the suits of their unnecessary versatility PLUS revert some changes of this sidearm update |

2. have an animation for getting in and out of vehicles that is longer the heavier the suit to solve the heavy LAV problem (suspect this is a client side fix)
3. fix needles so the indicator does not show up unless someone is actually asking for help and make WP rewards tier with needles level |

Just to clarify, if they did change the redline that way, YOU would still be here complaining about being shot from the redline, why? Because it's your scapegoat. Your claim is invalidated by the fact of what sniper rifles are. They are weapons that are meant to out-range other options. You are therefore not complaining about the redline, but of being Out-ranged.

If you made it one-way traversing, you would have yourself a "Team Tomb" meaning redlining an enemy team would be easy. First team to the enemy barrier can prevent them from ever leaving, as the trapped team cannot shoot out, and can only exit one at a time into a group of focus fire. There's a good reason you don't see such a thing often in larger scale competition. It doesn't hold up very long unless it's more of a casual feel.

I am actually fine with snipers in the field. I frequently go sniper hunting if the same one takes me out more than once. My problem is when I can't actually hunt them because they are so far back in the redline that I can't get to them without counter sniping. I shouldn't have to spec into sniper rifles to take out a sniper.

Sounds like an actual potential problem. There are solutions to this problem including choosing a different high level solution to the redline sniping problem. I just want the problem fixed. No tactic in the game should have almost no risk to it.

Updated to maintain current EWAR interplay. The main problem of AS is recharge time. Permascan > 5 seconds visibility and 45 seconds recharge. Also WP reward isn't good due to the lack of scans, it was a good reward when scanner had no recharge, now it should give nearly 3x WP than before. Agree on the rest.

Show commas when displaying amount of ISK to be transfered - Displaying a comma in the ISK transfer window would be great. It'll make determing how much ISK is displayed easier when transferring ISK.
Proximity mines need a buff.
And as Boot Booter said, scout base regen capabilities should be reduced. Amarr scout shield regen > Caldari Assault shield regen is a problem.

Nothing alt about me. Main and Original. I'd rewrite as, "Main, Original and Only" except I do technically have an alt I created back in 1.w/e to check out the then newly-created Academy and see what the NPE amounted to and haven't deleted it. It collects dust in my opening login screen.
scout imbalancing vs. the rest of the field comes not from any one individual characteristic but rather from the extremely potent combination of being Faster (sprinting and regular movement), Lower profile (so undetectable on tacnet in almost every circumstance), Significantly better regen rates and delays, capable of HP tanking, wielding two weapon types AND two equipment types. Most of these stats also are so excessive relative to all other classes/frames that even if a scout were to stack in one particular direction (say HP) the negative effect of the stacking (in our example, a loss of speed) while apparant, is still negligible compared to the rest of the field (ie its slow for a scout now but still as fast as an Assault while still having all the rest of the benefits available to it).
Nerf scouts. Twice. Then again, just to be sure.
