how many scouts and logis do you know who leave a game high kdr or positive isk for that matter. not many.

baseing rewards off of k/d is an extremely bad idea.
the current reward system is quite decent. preety much takes into account everything that gets blown up/killed and some other complex mathematical equation to work out reward.
if you can top the match from soley hacking every frckn thing in sight you deserve to have the highest reward. just because you can go 24/3 while slaying and come in 2nd place because some guy WAS actually being a logi and supporting his team while in the line of fire and takes 1st place means that he was doing something to help your team win.
not everyone wants to be front slayers. other people simply want to do other things. like pilot dropships, lavs , or tanks, logi, hack the fck out of everything and so on.
the slaying game should not be the highest rewarding way of acculmating the reward. want to know why? because in order to achive high scores you've got to RISK better gear or just be cannon fodder to achive such a score.
overall though baseing reward on K/D is an absolutely horrible idea.

Actually, holding the objective(s) longer wins the matches. Except ambushes. I've been in matches where the winning team took more clone losses. As someone who used to have a 6KDR with tryhard pants, and now casually maintains a 4+ KDR due to my obsession with joker fits, i think you're a bit nuts on this idea.
WP/D ratio is far more important, imo, then KDR.
EDIT: Ghost Recon: Phantoms is also a "Team" based game and rewards points even more for teamwork and objective play on a higher basis then DUST 514 and I think it plays even better as a result.
KDR is amazingballs in slayer games but can be damaging to gameplay in team-oriented objective games. Honestly I with DUST could be even more biased in Skirmish with the way points are awarded the same way that Phantoms does, it would really incentive people to play more intelligently and make "Winning" a skirmish match even more important.
Anyways, I think when I kill an HAV or a veteran protobear it ought to count more then when you kill some clueless blueberry in a militia starter fit, another reason why KDR is crap, it only encourages bottom feeding.

What if they form a star across the map and have a pentagon security system while the ground troops push the enemies like assaults pushes, scouts sabotage and flank, and heavies AV / defend on point and logi's heal squads??

This would be true... if I were in a PC match. But since my corp is no longer involved in PC, I don't have to worry much about that. Besides, right now with the sidearm expert challenge going on I'm not caring about clone loss. As long as I can get another kill with my militia nova knives before I die again (breaking even basically), I'm good.
