4-5= You succeed scooping the man to the dropship but injure him severely (roll on the Crippling Injury Table to see if he lives). Your thrusters are damaged.

Lasting Injury Table

2/3 the time the man will live and you will only minorly **** up.
1/3 the time you balls up so badly you wish you hadn't attempted the manoeuvre.
1/9 you critically fail resulting in the worst possible scenario that could be imagined.

i cracked up at that little description so hard xD
yeah, thats pretty much it.

2-3=my thrusters are damaged, so i pull out early at the last second, but the main grabs hold and i fly away
4= i pull off the maneuver, main suffers no damage but my dropship is Damaged, but fixable.
5= i succeed, and my dropship suffers minor damage, scratches on the paint-job, thats really about it, plus a few sparks
6=i pull it off so perfectly that the shadow warriors gaze upwards in awe and wonder, my dropship suffers no damage and i make towards the se'terra. It is a bloody miracle. |

as for the other limbs growing back, shadow warriors more op than what they already are, nay.
They may be near Invincible now, but hopefully later into the rp we'll start to find weakness to them. i've already hinted at one such weakness. and i'll start fleshing them out, bit by bit

I have the black humour...... I actually wrote the vastly more positively than I had intended.
If it hadn't been apparent you want him on the crew every roll would have ended with some form of grisly or crippling injury as punishment for being noble.
If modern media tells you anything nobility ends up with you being alone, tortured brutally, at the grave of all of your allies, and wishing you were dead too.
Which makes keeping to it such engrossing story telling when its punished appropriately.
Now get in Galms thread tOO!

Apologies all. Just my luck to not get a whole number and complicate matters more.
Trust True to jack up this OOC discussion thread 4 pages since I last saw it. To be fair we aren't entirely without injury. Jonny died (although he did throw himself away), and Crownrule has a nice big hole in his stomach, not to mention he was just previously crushed by my dropship. This will explain his delirious behaviour (such as diving into the enemy's tank randomly).
Raven has a suitable excuse for being able to wander into enemy territory and fight: his black dropsuit makes him appear like one of them. Now, I KNOW Junko said leisure clones, but hey, my leisure clone is inside a pilot dropsuit, I go everywhere with that thing, so maybe Raven likes the smell of his own breath being recycled by internal air filters too.
I don't think anyone knows who these shadow warriors are, but I have my fingers crossed that they aren't immortals too. But either way, we win in the 'sticking with the story' sense.
If they're immortal, our cause is futile; every one we kill is just another clone body to return to plague us later, and once our characters realise this it'll be absolutely soul-crushing, especially because we're ex-immortals.
If they AREN'T immortal, then they can't have had the combat experience we have acquired over years of fighting (only 2 years for Vyz but that's why I'm not really fighting) as immortals, dying over and over again, so we technically do have an edge over them.
Anyway I think we should definitely get our arses into the Se'terra and take a break before part two. (I'll admit I want to concentrate on Galm's RP, doing two at once is hard.)

To be fair, Jonny was also shot at multiple times, witnessed his best mate being executed in front of him, got his arm caught on fire, knocked unconscious twice, and I'm sure his head wound impaired his judgement when he went all kamikaze.

Well in the mean time, I'll post some information about the Mistress
Name: Marcelene Adtur-Buelle
Known Aliases: Marcy, the Mistress
Age: 18
Race: Intaki/Brutor (Father's side), Sebiestor (Mother's side)
Personality: Unlike her father, it may seem as if she is only out for herself. She is cruel, borderline evil. However she does care about people on some level, though she never shows it.
She also finds it easy to pay and manipulate the weak, poor and the desperate to get her way.
By the way I feel her presence is nesscessary, too many people willing to sacrifice themselves for others.
