If you don't like what they did with this update, get vocal next time and change it. Crying about something won't do anything, you have to be very factual about it and present an argument. Rattati is a man of reason. You give a good reason, he will take you seriously.

Interesting, can you send a screenshot of that? My brother's using the PS3 and his Amarr Logi still has a sidearm. Wow its still there Im amazed since you were talking about removing it anyways, is that still on the table? Also SP dropsuit refund since you screwed up my Gal sent/Cal scout by changing it all again

if you can not handle purchasing a few items and BPO's in the marketplace, you must be living in a cardboard box or somthing!!!
My question is, why do even need to pay to win? Isk isn't that hard to get, and they just tripled LP payouts. The only thing I could ever see paying for is proto gear. Standard and advanced gear isn't worth your money... but I would never pay for a non-permanent item anyway. Also, don't be so insensitive to those who do not have the luxury of spare money. Yes I apologize for coming off as insensitive to other players, but my point is that it is not that hard for new players with very little money to obtain the same advantage as vets with BPO originals. They can save there ISK to trade for them. This gives you something to play the game a lot for. I mean why else would you go into public battle after public battle as it is a bit boring. BPO originals are very sought after, they are what gives this game worth, so far as I can see there is no other point in playing this game than to try and collect the tech. Planetary conquest is broken and what else are you going to do with your ISK, but spend it on something. BPO originals are unique collectibles that should never be changed. You would not go back and try to change the story on a rare comic book. You can make standard, advanced and proto suits all much better than BPO originals, so that the BPO is obsolete, but you can not change the BPO. IT is set in stone when it is first created and sold.
You have a odd fascination with BPO's, but don't see the point when I can use a militia suit that cose around 1500 to 2000 isk, which is pennies worth for a suit. After playing this game for a while, I find it difficult to die and shred people in militia and std gear. The only time where that doesn't happen is when half or more of the enemy team is proto and your's is filled with blueberries, which you are then screwed.
At most, BPO's could save me 10-15,000 isk in a match, which isn't significant in my book. I'm not the richest player, but do not understand it when people find it difficult to make isk...
My apologies if I come off as an elitist, but I try to view things objectively, logically, and factually.

The collectible part is the paint job, the function is the same as its counterpart. It is not obsolete because it is an unlimited ISK saver, and in many cases does not require skills to use. It has its advantages.
I'm also curious how you expect players to buy BPOs when CCP has already stated that they will not reintroducing BPOs back into the game for sale? |

I have all 4 scouts proto and by far the weakest is Minnie they are the only scouts who have no ewar bonus and lacking pg. I love the nk damage and hack is nice but I would prefer something ewar over the hacking bonus. If Gallente is the best, while Amarr and Caldari are (I quote you) "close seconds", then I'd call that pretty balanced. The only scout in need of serious attention would be Minmatar then. Much better than before.
yes that what I was trying to say the Minnie scout needs a boost but ccp wont because again ON PAPER they look balance. but Minnie is way behind. I will tell you why on paper it looks that way - due to proto Minnie having 3 high 3 low slots they can use them all for precision (still would NOT see any scout using 2 damp or gall & cald using 1 damp) and dampners just to see any of the other scouts and try to hide but still would be seem by amarr and gall running 2 complex precision with no speed and no ehp. |

The answer is stomps. Some people have a minimum standard they won't let themselves dip below. It's still possible even with 15k ISK fits if the fight is violent enough, losing money isn't hard.
This Spring/Summer on the Logi ALT I switched to a Sever BPO. 20k or better ISK savings kept him in the game after Uprising 1.8
On the flip-side the Dren Sentinel on my Main is saving 14k verses the A/1-Series. But the loss of a armor and a complex damage mod just isn't worth it.
I'm wondering if hotfix Charlie has increased the usefulness of the Raven BPO since it gets skill buffs.
I have a lot of respect for Classic Logis. New Eden could use more Healers.

The adjustments of the AI definitely balanced the new health of the turrets for me, and I really don't have complaints about them thus far. 'Locks onto you at a 75 meter proximity'. Shoots turret. Turret couldn't give a ****. The blaster seems to be the only that responds. The burst hmg is certainly far more powerful than is was before, and I'm shredding other heavies with it, and it seems overpowered. I loved the thing before, but hope they balance it accordingly and not make it another flaylock. I'm actually using the assault hmg. The changes for it were well implemented.
I still find it ridiculous that I can stack 1,316 onto my Assault Ak.0, have a proto light, std or adv sidearm, adv grenade, 2 complex and 1 adv sidearm, and all lows proto, with a nearly maxed out fitting in cpu/pg... 'not overpowered at all'.

I have yet to find a single bad thing about this update. The turret buff was great, the changes all around have been great. I am guessing you dont play a caldari sentinal. |

When i did have a low slot it was filled with a armor rep to patch me up after a difficult fight. Cal sentinals are now in a very bad place. We dont have the PG / CPU to make many fittings now and we have no way for us to patch our own armor. In this regard we are unique in the game being literally the only suit that can not be outfitted to repair its armor.

As the Raven BPO is listed as a STD Minmatar Logi, it has received it's respective skills long before Charlie (and nothing was changed for the Minmatar Logi skill bonuses in Charlie). This would also apply to any BPO that is not of militia tier.
Getting money isn't hard either. It's painless and easy. By 'some people have a minimum standard they won't let themselves dip below', I assume that means that they refuse to use a fitting below a certain price? If so, that's entirely their issue, and no ones to blame. I'm not saying you're blaming anyone either. When using 'you' in most of my posts, I'm referring to the general players of this game. The only way to fix that is to simply get ride of that strange... ideal? Pride? Rather odd predicament to put yourself through.
The majority of my regular fits cost around 15k, and to make money it's as simple as using an approximate 2k fitting or the 4 BPOs given to you at the start of that characters creation. At this point though, isk is easily infinite throughout playing the game normally, without going into PC, hoarding/stealing cash from the corp, exploitation, and etc. I've stopped grinding for isk and am now comfortably bobbing around the loss and gain of 10mil in my wallet that is 6 to 7x's that amount.
I truly question how people can be poor or begging for isk... and I have a friend who has twice as much as I do, and they frankly haven't a care in the world how much they use or lose.
If you can run cheap fittings just as well as your more expensive fittings, then you're only improving yourself and making money while you're at it. Then you become like me. A master of militia and standard, but utterly sucks when using proto. I have no idea how that logic works, but practice has made that fairly evident to me... perhaps when using something expensive I play too cautiously? When it's cheap I have little care in the world and perform far better when price is of no concern and can focus on playing correctly... ? Hmm... I may have just answered my own question... oh well.
My apologies if I come off as an elitist, but I try to view things objectively, logically, and factually.
