Since Legion is coming and hence balancing for controllers are a waste of time and effort... I'll pass on desire to just remove controller support from DUST 514.

Seriously, like half the game plays with keyboard and mouse. In my case, I can't actually play with a controller at all. CCP isn't going to drop half it's players to make you happy. It's not happening, get over it.*

Really? I am very curious about this set up where somehow it is literally impossible to use a controller which actually came as part of the original equipment for the console.
How is it even possible to have the dedicated space required for a keyboard and mouse and not be possible to use a controller. Correct me if i am wrong but aren't most keyboards significantly larger than a controller? Clearly if you have room for a keyboard you have room if you moved the keyboard to rest both hands on said surface and comfortably hold a controller.

Maybe your statement is more a reflection of how low your opinion is of the player base thinking that we would just blindly buy such a statement.

Then they dropped the Legion bomb and their went more people and more critics. I do for the most part enjoy the game personally.
But I find they are to focused on the wrong thing.

I cant play FPS for **** using KB/M, I'm pressing all the wrong buttons constantly and I always have to stop and think about which key does what, but DS3 just feels right to me. I can totally understand that a lot of people feel the opposite way, so it is best for both options to be available.
Which method of user input you decide to use is your choice, it's a matter of opinion. Please ***** about one of the countless problems with this game rather than a feature put in place to help the game cater to more than one audience.

Yea most likely, but you think the player base will grow when they make the switch or pretty much have the same people from Eve, they made Dust514 to fund Legion and try and recruit people to PC, that's only reason I see they would switch to PC, that's why I'd want to try my idea, sh*t they about to lose even more players when Destiny drops then when BF and MW drop their sh*t, Legion I think will drop with that new Eve game comes out, maybe. And was it a coincidence that the Legion bomb was dropped in May 2014 (5/14)???

I am not capable of controlling a character in an FPS with thumbsticks. (It kinda mystifies me anyone is.)

I bought the console solely for DUST, solely because it had keyboard and mouse support. Removing keyboard/mouse support would be removing me from the game, as with probably thousands of others. *Again, I don't have actual numbers on this.

I actually shock that people still can play with the "Virtual Joystick" simulator that CCP calls "Mouse Support"....

I had patience for a while, but eventually i just couldn't play any more...i don't know how you guys do it.

My M/kb set cost only 35$ basic USB mouse + Basic Logitech kb.
And I did buy new PS3 only for DUST514

Spend 400$ on a ps4 just for Destiny and 100$ for a venom X converter then another 100$ for the game, though i won't be running the Aim assist that comes with the game, already tried how the assist feels in Blacklight, it throws of my precise aim or when 2 people cross each other, it all of a sudden tracks the guy you don't wanna shoot first.

If Destiny would be on PC, idd play it there, got a PC with 4x R9 280X from Asus DirectCU II TOP cards in it, sitting here not doing much FPS games as of late, but sadly its a console only game.

Ill be very happy when Legion hits, no more DS3 whiners to content with, i just hope CCP can deal with the cheaters.

It's very simple. Some of us don't play console shooters. We play shooters on PC. Consoles are for games our satanboxes can't run because there is no PC release. And bluntly most of those aren't worth buying the console for.

So what happened is: We download DUST 514 and go to the controls to figure out where all the mapping is. We do a double-take and go HOT DAMN! THIS GAME HAS FAMILIAR INTERFACE! We promptly set the controller aside for Orbital bombardments, and hook up our precious KB/M and never think about trying to learn how to use the ten-butan, dual-stick having abomination, and giggle while you complain about how unfair KB/M is when it's efficacy has been nerfed below the DS3 because people whined.

And since we have no desire to cater to the way other people think the world should work, we make the sub-optimal solution work well. And we then farm you for Warpoints. Leading to more NERF KB/M threads for the trillionth time as we bask in our own autistic E-Peen glory.
