Would it be possible to change the SFX on the charged sniper rifle to something a little less obtrusive? Listening to a hair dryer on high while you are charged is not very pleasant.

As someone else said, as long as we can see the scope against those extremely bright backgrounds (building lights, the sun, etc.) then it's a definite improvement.

Please think about maybe changing the color of the cross hairs to something thats doesn't disappear when aiming at an enemy standing in sunlight. I was thinking maybe something like a bright green or maybe a super neo blue color when it moves over of the enemy.

@CCP Logibro- when aiming at equipment, will the line also turn red along with the dot?
As it stands, shooting a red icon with the red dot is troublesome. If the line, or the rest of the scope turned red, destroying equipment as well as shooting enemies will be much easier.
If this is pure cosmetic and still only the circle lights up, than there is no real improvement here. Polish a turd all you want, you are still left with nothing but a turd.
When I look down my scope, all I see are dead people.

Increase the zoom on all rifles, and this will be a good step in the right direction.

Increasing the zoom would only incentivize players to red line snipe. If anything should be done regarding zoom level it would be to reduce the Thales zoom to be in line with the rest of the sniper rifles. |

Is it because you would be able to fire from the hip with the sniper rifle?
If so all of your future comments need to be ignored by the entire Dust community, Devs included, because there is no way any sniper should be able to easily fire from the hip. The sniper rifle is supposed to be a long range support weapon. Not a front line main battle rifle.
Sniper rifles are large, cumbersome, weapons and they should be difficult to lug about let alone fire from a non-prone position (crouching is as close as we get but that is a different matter). Firing them from the hip should be near impossible.

if this is a groundbreaking change to sniper rifles, i can already tell the sniper is never going to be viable in Dust
we need for starters better graphics rendering and zoom. it's so frustrating not being able to tell if your target is behind an object or not.
the ability to zoom in and out NOT being in dust has always felt wrong to me. if you're not going to give us control over our zoom magnification, at least give us a better zoom
You know the scary thing about em? They don't need power... lights, heat, nothing. That's their advantage.
