My officer Mass Driver better have 8 shots, have the same rate of fire as the Assault, deal 170 splash, with a 10 meter splash radius AND have a direct hit damage of 400. If the regular Mass Driver isn't OP at all, the officer one has to be the complete definition of OP.

Only base variants are counted. That means no BARs, ACRs, ASRs, Assault Forge Guns, Burst HMGs, etc.

How is this fair since many people going to fit their proto weapon with their proto suit. While, some people going to equip it with their advance suit. Clearly there's imbalance to this event. Basically, this is only benefiting protostompers.

For those that don't understand why you have to use proto for this event...
It's because of the lore
We're testing "prototype" weapons to create a new "variant"
That, and it'll make the event more fun.
And you're risking much more isk with prototype instead of just spamming mlt suits
Also, why give 30 officer weapons to a player that isn't willing to use their proto gear? If they won't risk proto gear, why should they get to use officer gear? On top of that, if someone got a ton of kills with a basic weapon, yet died 20 times, they wouldn't be risking anything in order to win that officer gear.
And finally, if someone who isn't even skilled into proficiency wins, why would you give that player officer geat they can't even use?
I understand that the event excludes newer players, or players without a lot of isk...but it prevents players from being able to name an officer weapon who:
-are not willing to risk their gear
-are not good at this game
-do not have the isk to run proto (or are so bad at this game that they can't make enough isk to run proto)
-do not actually use these weapons (i.e. are not even skilled into the weapon very far)
-are not dedicated players that have been wanting specific officer weapons
It makes it so that you compete for the weapons that you are skilled with, and can't just compete for weapons that you don't have the skills to use (unless you spend a lot of money on aur weapons)
