Dierdra Vaal has created the CPM version of the Vote Match site. What he needs is a list of questions from across the spectrum of concerns about Dust 514 and to a lesser degree Project Legion so that the final candidates can answer them to provide a database so as to match your potential candidates to your concerns in Dust 514.
As in the Eve version the questions will be presented in a scale of how much a subject matters to you and matches you with candidates who most closely match you.
So what we need are questions.
Please keep them brief and remember that the format will be similar to this example:
How important is the New Player Experiance to you?
A. Not important at all B. Neutral C. Very important
Obviously the scale will be larger than 3 but you get the idea.
Once the questions are known, the candidate will be invite to answer them as to how they feel and then the electorate can then find the 7 candidate that match them closely.
Please let everyone you know that plays the game about this thread. The more questions we have the better the match.

It is important to remember that the Vote Match works best if we find the questions candidates disagree on.
So many things we all agree on, would be pretty irrelevant. We all agree the NPE is important, for instance. We need questions that will divide candidates, to help you set them apart.

Oh those types of questions....
*Cracks other knuckles.*
Should have CPM 0 been dismissed after Legion's Announcement?
Should there been a CPM 0.1 instead where CCP picked another round of CPM members from outstanding community players?
Should CCP not have even bothered with a CPM 1 Election with the advent of Dust's supposed demise?
Should CCP not have even bothered with a CPM 1 now with Legion so far off.
You have found out a fellow CPM member has breached the NDA in a malicious intentional manner that is causing a serious backlash against Dust 514. Should that member be Chastised? Dismissed? Punished? Black Listed (life all account ban)?
You have found out a fellow CPM member has breached the NDA in an minor and highly accidental manner. Should that member be chastised? Dismissed? Black Listed (life all account ban)?
Months of ongoing frustration and opposing views has lead internal fighting and its getting ugly spilling out in front of the developers and/or players Should the manner be reigned in internally? Request the assistance of the CPM handler to resolve the issue? Let it be? Be reigned in Externally in public?
You have the opportunity to have legion canceled would you do it?
Would you still cancel Legion if it meant that Dust 514 gets shutdown along with it?
An unpopular feature has been brought up by CCP leaving no room to respond back.
Demand another meeting over the feature? File a protest? Break the NDA? Threaten to Resign? Resign without threat? Bode your time to let the feature play out?
A player who you are good friends with asks for privy information that is still NDA; he is also known to be one of the larger socialites in the game able to spread news quickly; and effectively. the information you have is inflammatory in its current state.
Do you share the information trusting the individual to keep it? Deny the player's request. Do you fringe ignorance. Do you share the information vaguely indicate something is going on.?
Are CPM Player Representatives or Player Representation?
CPM threatened to walk off last month to resolve an issue that has been longstanding and considered of great importance. CCP responded and worked hard to resolve that issue. A new entirely different issue arose and your fellow CPM members are threatening to do so again and CCP is calling your bluff this time.
Do you think that overplaying the card frustrates CCP and lowers the opinion of the CPM? That the mass resignation card should only be played on very key critical issues? Should this card only be played as a means of last resort? Should only be played if the effort if futile (as in why even have a CPM after the decision is executed?)
A fellow CPM member has brought up an agenda during a meeting without your acknowledge beforehand while it is selling well to CCP you as a player know the idea is absolutely terrible for the game. Chastise the player for not sharing information before hand? Shoot down the agenda immediately? Question the agenda and potential flaws during the meeting?
You as a CPM member has come across NDA information that not even the entire company knows due to lack of formalization of the information; Is it appropriate to... Tell the affected developers of what is about to happen? Share this information with your CSM counterparts? Share the information with other developers who may or may not know about the NDA information.
You as a CPM member has come across some highly controversial NDA information intended for your ears eventually that was at the time of you hearing about it was supposed to be NDA and due to the second hand nature you cannot ask questions or fathom the whole purpose of the information.
Is it appropriate to start demanding answers from CCP? Keep Mum about it from ccp? Bring it to the public's attention?

IWS the answers to your second set of questions are very cut and dry. They are just a matter of professionalism.
Q) Should have CPM 0 been dismissed after Legion's Announcement? A) No, clearly there was still plenty of work to do.
Q) Should there been a CPM 0.1 instead where CCP picked another round of CPM members from outstanding community players? A) Only if CPM 0 were so burnt out that they did not want to do the job anymore or stopped playing DUST.
Q) Should CCP not have even bothered with a CPM 1 Election with the advent of Dust's supposed demise? A) We are Beta testing closer Community/Dev interaction in the development process so that Legion does not flounder the way DUST did prior to Rattati. CPM 1 are needed to play their part to get the procedures worked out.
Q) Should CCP not have even bothered with a CPM 1 now with Legion so far off. A) We are Beta testing closer Community/Dev interaction in the development process so that Legion does not flounder the way DUST did prior to Rattati. CPM 1 are needed to play their part to get the procedures worked out.
Q) You have found out a fellow CPM member has breached the NDA in a malicious intentional manner that is causing a serious backlash against Dust 514. A) As a CPM member you should Chastise the member and report it to CCP. If it is felt that this member can no longer be relied on to uphold the NDA, then CCP should Dismiss the member. If the breach was done with the intent of harming the company/game and was successful, then CCP should take legal action. If this person is continuing to cause serious trouble, then CCP should Ban all their accounts.
Q) You have found out a fellow CPM member has breached the NDA in an minor and highly accidental manner. A) Chastise the member. If this appears to be a pattern and you donGÇÖt feel this member is capable of maintaining the NDA, then suggest to CCP that they dismiss the member.
Q) Months of ongoing frustration and opposing views has lead internal fighting and its getting ugly spilling out in front of the developers and/or players A) There should be attempt to resolve the situation internally, preferably with a member who is diplomatic and respected by both side mediating. If this fails, then get the CPM handler involved. Such disputes should be kept off the public forms. If a member takes the dispute public, the public response should be that the post was inappropriate and that further discussion should be handled internally.
Q) You have the opportunity to have legion canceled would you do it? A) No. Unless getting a game cancelled would have some measurable benefit, then the only reason to get it cancelled would be out of spite, and that would be wholly unprofessional!
Q) Would you still cancel Legion if it meant that Dust 514 gets shutdown along with it? A) No. Not only would that be unprofessional, it would be acting against the community you were elected to represent.
Q) An unpopular feature has been brought up by CCP leaving no room to respond back. A) Demand another meeting over the feature. If not granted file a protest. If CCP is going to proceed anyway, then ask yourself if you would still want to be a CPM in a game with that feature in it. If the answer is No, then inform CCP that if the feature goes live you will resign. DonGÇÖt Bluff. If the answer is Yes, then wait for your chance to say GÇ£I told you so. You should listen to me next time.GÇ¥
Q) A player who you are good friends with asks for privy information that is still NDA; he is also known to be one of the larger socialites in the game able to spread news quickly; and effectively. the information you have is inflammatory in its current state. A) You do not share the information. You can however share general information such as whether a subject has been discussed, if a decision has been made or is still being debated, and whether you are feeling confident or concerned about the process.
Q) Are CPM Player Representatives or Player Representation? A) Depends on whether it regards a subject that has been debated by the community, or a new idea proposed by CCP.
Q) CPM threatened to walk off last month to resolve an issue that has been longstanding and considered of great importance. CCP responded and worked hard to resolve that issue. A new entirely different issue arose and your fellow CPM members are threatening to do so again and CCP is calling your bluff this time. A) Ask yourself if you would still want to be a CPM in a game with that feature in it. If the answer is No, then inform CCP that if the feature goes live you will resign. DonGÇÖt Bluff. If the answer is Yes, then wait for your chance to say GÇ£I told you so. You should listen to me next time.GÇ¥
Q) Do you think that overplaying the card frustrates CCP and lowers the opinion of the CPM? A) The resignation card should never be a bluff. If it is being overplayed, then either CCP has gone way off the tracks, or you either need to HTFU or GTFO.
Q) A fellow CPM member has brought up an agenda during a meeting without your acknowledge beforehand while it is selling well to CCP you as a player know the idea is absolutely terrible for the game. A) Express that you have not heard the idea before, and have concerns. Request that the idea be reexamined at the next meeting once everyone has had time to consider it. If CCP wants to proceed immediately, then express your concerns fully.

(It may have slipped their minds.)
Q) You as a CPM member has come across some highly controversial NDA information intended for your ears eventually that was at the time of you hearing about it was supposed to be NDA to you as well and due to the second hand nature you cannot ask questions or fathom the whole purpose of the information. A) Inform the CCP employee who knows what is going on that you have received information on the subject prematurely (donGÇÖt disclose the source) and ask if they are ready to discuss it further. Sort of a GÇ£I heard this... is there anything you want to tell me at this time?GÇ¥ DonGÇÖt disclose it publically.

Alright, here are a few more for the battery of questions.
How important to balance do you consider public contracts/matches? A. Not important at all B. Worth looking at after everything else C. Only PC matches show valid balance D. Only FW matches show valid balance E. Neutral - All game modes should be given equal weight F. One of the first areas to be observed G. The only game mode relevant to balance
Role purpose defines Dust 514; the role that should be the best slayer in the game is A. Scout B. Assault C. Heavy D. Logi E. HAV F. LAV G. ADS H. None of the above; Dust is currently so focused on kills all roles must be combat viable.
CCP currently has limited resources for Dusts refinement & development; in your estimation how important should improvements to the Recruitment and NPE systems be among their priorities moving forward? A. Not important at all B. Worth looking at after everything else C. Neutral D. One of the first areas to be observed E. The only game mode relevant to balance
CCP has stated that new art assets, if they come, are likely to be very scares due to current resources. If given the choice, which would you push for them to implement first (knowing that it might be the only one to make it into the game). A. New suit types B. New vehicle types C. New/more refined weapons and weapon models/effects D. An diverse array of vanity items E. A New Map/socket set
You have a new concept you believe could improve the game but desire more feedback to refine it, assuming no NDA concerns apply your first tool for gaining input would likely be A. Skype B. Ask a Dev C. Bring it up at a CPM meeting D. Toss the idea round in squad E. Post a thread in General F. Post a thread in Features and Ideas Discussion G. Send out a tweet H. Post a YouTube video on the subject
How important do you feel it is for Devs and CPM members to have as wide a range of first hand experience with the roles and fittings in game as possible? A. Not at all important B. Slight, but inconsequential importance C. Somewhat important D. Highly important
CCP is considering completion of the tool set which will allow for more frequent and dynamic player events, however this has a high resource investment and will place other work on hold. You advise them to A. Ignore the tool set - community events aren't really worthwhile anyway B. Finish the tool set, but only after everything else is complete C. Push the toolset forward as soon as the balance hotfixes are complete D. Put the tool set at the top of their list - the community is already playing Dust and should have something to keep their entertainment fresh
CCP is considering completion of more advaced API and 3rd party access tools which will allow for more frequent and dynamic player created applications, however this has a high resource investment and will place other work on hold. You advise them to A. Ignore 3rd party tools B. Improve 3rd party access, but only after everything else is complete C. Push the 3rd party access forward as soon as the balance hotfixes are complete D. Put 3rd party access at the top of their list - Allowing the community to provide these apps will free up additional development resources for other uses
How important to you is it that Project Legion eventually come to the PS4? A. Not at all important B. Slightly important C. Moderately important D. Important E. Very important
Your oppinnion of the progression system for project Legion as first presented by CCP Z is A. It's perfect as is, change nothing B. It would be a great asset to new players, but should be purely optional C. Even trade compared to the current system in Dust; both have pros and cons E. Inferiror to the system in Dust, but we could learn a few things from it F. Has nothing to offer, the system in Legion should be the same one we have in Dust

Hi all. I've worked with the author (Deirdre Vaal) of Vote Match previously on compiling the questions used. I'd like to point out that agree/disagree questions are not that good. Better are multiple choice, such as:
Quote:Q: What is your position on skill respecs?
* Never * Only one final time once all racial suits have been added to the game * Able to purchase respecs for AUR, but pre-nerfed (limited use, lose SP, high cost, etc) * Able to purchase respecs for AUR, no limits * Able to purchase for isk, no limits

Kevall,
Quick point of order.
If you are the one compiling the questions - how can that be impartial?
If any candidate is the "decider" of which questions will be used to gauge candidate matches to voter preference then they are subject to claims that they cherry picked favorable questions and might discard less favorable questions.

Plus, I don't believe there can exist a question that will benefit one candidate over another. The entire point is to see where candidates differ from each other. A softball question won't differentiate - and hence won't benefit or hinder anyone.

Absolute,
Thanks for the clarification that you will be balding the question compiling.
I would disagree that some questions can be potentially more advantageous for one candidate over another.
Example: If a candidate has limited competitive PC experience or at least none in recent memory, he may feel it's advantageous or at least safer to not address direct questions about personal experience or PC focused questions set himself apart from other candidates.
The perception of whether something is negative or positive is understandably subjective and that certainly doesn't stop some from shying away from wanting to point out what some might consider as less popular answer.

All candidates will be invited to answer the questions after they are ready and uploaded.
Basically from here we have the steps:
1) compile the questions 2) upload them 3) get candidates to submit their answers 4) open up VoteMatch for public use
