How do you feel about the idea of removing a Logistics Light Weapon and replacing it with a sidearm? a. Logistics should only have a sidearm. b. Logistics should keep their light weapon. c. Logistics should only have a sidearm, but with significant buffs to other attributes. d. Logistics should keep their light weapon, but have a debuff to make it do less damage. e. I don't know enough about Logistics to comment on this.
Logistics is consider the GÇ£SupportGÇ¥ role. What sort of in-battle actions do you consider to be GÇ£SupportGÇ¥ oriented? a. Purely Repping, Uplinks, ect. Equipment based team support. b. A direct class with the ability to use equipment for support for themselves as well as teammates. c. A purely combat class with more flexibility than most suits. d. Repping, Ammo Supply, Uplinks, ect. Equipemtn based team support, but also providing indirect DPS support. e. I don't know enough about Logistics to comment on this.
The Commando currently fills the role of a DPS class. Do you feel the Assault and Commando needs to fill different roles, or different ones?
a. Commando should maintain its role as a DPS class & Assault should fill a similar variant of that role. b. Commando should maintain its role as a DPS class & Assault should file a different role. c. Commando should have a different role & Assault should take its place as the DPS class. d. Commando & Assault should both have non DPS roles. e. I don't know enough about Commandos or Assaults to comment on this.
Assaults are widely considered one of the weakest roles in the game, and sometimes even outclassed by other GÇ£SlayerGÇ¥ roles such as Logistics and Scouts. What sort of changes would you like to see to bring about balance? a. Weaken other role's ability to fill the 'Slayer' role so the Assault can be the strongest. b. Give the Assault DPS bonuses much like the Commando. c. Give the Assault more eHP to combat other roles. d. I don't know enough about Assaults to comment on this.
Like my ideas?

Cheers, Cross All candidates will be invited to answer the questions after they are ready and uploaded. Basically from here we have the steps: 1) compile the questions 2) upload them 3) get candidates to submit their answers 4) open up VoteMatch for public use Excellent, looking forward to it.

Ok, here are my questions that I feel that voters would want clarity on.
While the CPM's input on Project Legion will be limited according to CCP, in terms of its own identity within a larger game universe, how beholden should it be to the other games set in New Eden?
A: As long as established game lore is not ignored, free to pursue its own separate identity. B: Not afraid to do things differently but have some commonalities with the other games. C: Dust 514 has the balance about right and it should develop along that path. D: Should move more towards the established New Eden Universe with the bare mechanics needed for FPS. E: Be tightly bound to New Eden with mechanics in place to achieve that.
Skill Respec's should:
A: Never happen for any reason at all. B: Be only ever used when it absolutely can't be avoided. C: Happen once a year, like the attribute remap Eve players enjoy. D: A paid for option but with a minimal total SP reduction as a sanction. E: A paid for option but with substantial total SP reduction as a sanction.
What do you consider the most important aspect of the game that improves player retention?
A: The NPE (New Player Experience) B: Weapon balance C: Game modes D: Social Features E: PvE F: Anti Vehicle balance G: A Matchmaking system
One advantage of Legion's move to PC is the possible opportunity for the creation of a public test server for the game once launched. How high a priority should that be?

"Corps are the basis of nearly all social interaction in Dust 514 and giving them the tools they need should be near the top of CCP's plans?"

In order to create a dynamic and non inflationary Player market for Project Legion at launch, CCP has determined and irrefutably proven to the CPM, that ISK earned in Dust 514 can't make the transition to Legion because the player market will fail with the ISK tap. As a CPM candidate do you:
A: Publicly support CCP B: Take a neutral stance on the subject C: Publicly attack the decision

These are my best "very important/neutral/not important" questions.
- How do you feel about the idea that cloaked scouts need a longer delay to switch to their weapons?
- What about giving the cloak a weakness to flux grenades or taking damage in general?
- Is changing EWAR and shared passive scans on tacnet on your to do list?
- How do you feel about being conservative with balancing Sentinels and HMGs, ie. not changing them by much?
- Do you think buffing Assault HP is one of the higher priorities to improve the Assault class?
- Should the Logi role be changed at all? For example giving them bonuses to two types of equipment, not just one?
- How do you feel about pushing CCP to make future updates to Dust even though they've "cut it from the budget?"
- Do you think dropships should have a higher resistance to AV than tanks?
These are all Dust-related questions. Also if they become irrelevant due to one of Rattati's Hotfixes, feel free to ignore them if applicable. |

Here's a few that really matter to me (I apologize if these have been mentioned above, too lazy to go through all of them)
What's the most important change that needs to be made to equipment? -Rebalance of rewards gained for equipment usage -Finding a solution to equipment spam -Making all equipment variants useful and meaningful (no single "best" variant) -Adding bonuses to equipment skills similar to nanocircuitry's cpu reduction of nanohives/injectors -Equipment is fine as it is
How do you feel about the newer/bigger maps that we currently have in rotation? -They're better for vehicles, which adds depth and strategy to the game -The bigger maps and large open-air environments are one of the best features of Dust, giving it a larger sense of scale that other FPS games don't usually have. -The maps are perfectly fine, but they would be better with a higher player count only possible in Legion (48 or 64 instead of 32) -Certain maps are too big and should be removed from rotation or edited to be more suitable for 32 players -The main issue with these maps is the ability for a tank to defend an open/outside objective
The main reason why Dust's new player retention is so low is: -The tutorials do not explain enough or do not relay information well enough -The shift from Academy to proto stomping public matches is too drastic -Starter suits do not do a good enough job of showing new players a brief glimpse of the different roles available -There are too many options/skills even at the start of the game for new players to understand -CCP's NPE design isn't the problem, but the way they presented it, is (i.e. walls of text) -Another factor (map design, game modes, AUR, etc)

1. I don't like traveling, and it seems like it's a requirement to be on the CPM 2. My personal life is almost always really busy...I barely have enough time to make videos on a regular basis 3. I was told that I can still be a great help to the community without being on the CPM
A lot of people have told me that I'd be a good CPM because of my neutrality towards almost all aspects of the game, but I can do a lot being just a player.
Besides, Cross Atu is running for almost all of the reasons I'd run, so if you'd vote for me, vote for him. We have almost identical mindsets, and I'm hoping to make a video here soon to discuss with him about the NPE and equipment.
