Hi all. I've worked with the author (Deirdre Vaal) of Vote Match previously on compiling the questions used. I'd like to point out that agree/disagree questions are not that good. Better are multiple choice, such as:
Quote:Q: What is your position on skill respecs?
* Never * Only one final time once all racial suits have been added to the game * Able to purchase respecs for AUR, but pre-nerfed (limited use, lose SP, high cost, etc) * Able to purchase respecs for AUR, no limits * Able to purchase for isk, no limits
See my previous thread asking for questions for some other examples: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1797975#post1797975

He will complie the questions that are suggested here.
Myself and Deirdre Vaal will review them, and others, for publication.
Plus, I don't believe there can exist a question that will benefit one candidate over another. The entire point is to see where candidates differ from each other. A softball question won't differentiate - and hence won't benefit or hinder anyone.

^ I agree the absence of certain questions may benefit a candidate - but I've no horse in that race so suggest as many as you care to be answered
Cross Atu wrote:Sorry if I overlooked the information somewhere, I've been keeping many plates spinning today, but is there anything specifically you need from the candidates at this point to get set up and answer questions? Or are we currently in a holding pattern until all questions are gathered and entered (which would be totally understandable).
Just want to make sure I'm on top of anything that needs to be taken care of from my end.
Cheers, Cross
All candidates will be invited to answer the questions after they are ready and uploaded.
Basically from here we have the steps:
1) compile the questions 2) upload them 3) get candidates to submit their answers 4) open up VoteMatch for public use

I joined in March/April I think. Been inactive since.
Please post questions though. I'd rather have too many and have to sift out (or merge) than have a low number. (most of the editing effort goes into choosing good answers though, tbh).

All credit should go to Deirdra for doing the actual coding. The rest of us are just volunteers.
